She is the nasty bitch in the house and its plain to see when she does not get her own way, she brings out the scowls. Im not worried because outside this forum, she will come up against people that see her for what she is and nobody will vote a spoiled brat to win so its hey ho and off she goes to the finals with an early eviction, 5 mins on interview and her ferry fare home.

She is doing very well considering all she has had chucked her way, some of these tasks are ridiculous and plain humiliating.

Well so have I and think you must be the luckiest person on this planet in that respect.
She has had her Diary Room and conversations played into the house, been up for eviction several times, been called names by the unlovely Helen, and all the tasks where she had to not mind looking stupid.
Helen has, not been up for eviction, called others disgusting names, refused to acknowledge she said them and has been given the redemption treatment by BB.
A capital P on please is enough when posting, Thank you.

Agree she felt very uncomfortable and had every right to display some anger. An honest and understandable reaction which would have been just the same if it was Winstone or Ash told to lick her ears.

Do none of you remember being eighteen and how you would have felt at the idea of a man in his thirties going to lick your ear. She was disgusted at the task and she wanted to make that clear to BB, to her family and her boyfriend. Had she allowed the pawing, licking and straddling to take place she would have got the Noirin treatment from many on this forum and been accused of leading Chris on. It was a revolting unfair task to both Chris and Ashleigh I'm sorry they didn't just refuse to do it altogether but both did the best they could and Ashleigh in no way deliberately tried to hurt Chris.

I agree that she was mortified by what BB was asking Chris to do, however she could have been choosier with her words, remember they are supposed to be good friends in the house and saying you'd rather drown in yogurt than have your 'friend' lick your ear doesn't actually come across as friends from her perspective, you'd say that if you were repulsed by someone not if they were your friend.
She may be being mindful of the whole creepy Chris thing but those words made him look like an even bigger creep as they homed in on his face....poor Chris!
I would think the words she used hurt his feelings and i for one am not convinced she'll have anything to do with him on the outside.

They all go through a bad patch, but there are limits which I feel Ashleigh doesn't cross.
She is playing the game, trying to out manipulate the other housemates.
She has played the best game so far and I think Winston has too, he has it together but I wish he would drop the dumb act.
I don't get all the low remarks about Ashleigh, she has off days and better days but at the moment they all have a severe case of housemate fatigue, through boredom, little mental stimulation and BBs winding them all up.
I don't think I would handle it very well being shut in with those lot for such a length of time at my age, let alone being a teenager with older housemates as companions.

Exactly...it was a pathetic task anyway...it was as cringe as the George Galloway/Rula lenska scenario...making people look really stupid. I think Ashleigh felt for Chris having to do it and as an18 year old you wouldn't want a 30 year old man doing that to you anyway.

It's a bit unfair to bring her mother into it Kazanne. Why do you say she's pushy? If you're just pulling it out of thin air and have nothing to actually back it up then I'll ask you to stop as it is unfair to criticize family of HMs like that just because you don't like the actual HM

I think she is missing someone of her own age to do the girlie things which she likes to do.
However, be honest, who wouldn't be miserable with that lot in there and of course she laughs at others, they want to be funny, that's why they act as they do. Haven't you seen Winston and thee others laughing alongside her as well.
As for her mother, they all go on BB to support their kids, good for them all, I don't think it is the parents choice they go in there, who would want that sort of reception on eviction night for their child but would support them if it is their choice.

That's fair enough Niamh, well it would be if the playing field was level, people have come on here talking about Helen as a mother,oh and her 'poor son',saying horrible things far worse than I've just said, and nothing is said,Ashleigh is supposed to have won Miss Derry isn't she? so I'de wager her mother had a hand in that, afterall Ashleigh is only '18' so couldn't have thought of that all by herself.

..a very few posters may have mentioned Helen's parenting skills and that's just as wrong I agree, I think most people would agree that was right or necessary because those are all assumptions as well ...her mum/parents may have supported her in whatever she's wanted in life...don't most parents do that but that's not in any way being pushy or something either Ashleigh or her mum should have criticism laid at them for....

It is a viable reason, she has been up against very much older housemates and done very well.
If she was in their age group, it would be fairer but as a test for Ashleigh's strength of character, she has played a very good strategic game.
I may aswell use the 18 card as everyone else seems to think its an excuse for her being a sulky miserable mare, imo.
..actually the first person to mention her age was Helen who used it as an excuse to feel as though she should be treated differently and not subjected to her venom...and the only reason it's used on the forum is because of the childish behaviour we have seen so often in the house and the contrast to a lot of Ashleigh's behaviour...I'm always right, always right, always right, always right..etc....

Her age shouldn't be an issue.
Pav is 22, Christopher is 23 and Mark is 24, they are all close to her age so it shouldn't be an issue.
She does come across as moody, and grumpy, and a bit lifeless, she's not been the most exciting HM.
But that's what's so great about this forum, we get to share our opinions and back our favourites and we should be basing our opinions on what we've seen and feel.
Well I'm a self confessed bitch, that's probably why I don't like the girl,I mean if you dislike someone so much at least have the bottle to let them know instead of pretending to be their friend.
..she's not the only housemate by far to have said that Helen is impossible to talk to in terms of listening or taking any criticism and that's it's just not worth what they know they have seen happen to others who have tried ..so she deals with it her way and some people don't like that..?..that's fine, I can understand that but it doesn't make her a bitch because she has conversations that criticise someone who leaves themselves open to such criticism with their behaviour...and there is no value on forcing your own bitter opinion..(not yours, Helen's and people like Helen..) on someone they don't like because that really is just their own experience and interaction with that person...and there's never really much value in making another human feel bad about themselves...we fairly much all do that enough ourselves without the help of others who don't see many positives in anything....
How do you know she was bullied? same as we don't know what her mom is like, has this been proved or written somewhere or a card that's been thrown out to make us go "Ah"
..she's said she's been bullied several times so I'm not going to assume she's a liar as I haven't assumed any other housemate have lied about certain things...obviously with the exclusion of Danielle's persona...

It's not unusual for these 'pagent mom' types to be described as pushy and ashleigh does come across as a tad entitled and bratty at times.

Ashleigh actually ORGANISED the Miss Derry contest the year after she won and ran classes for young women to raise their self esteem. I am sure she has had her Mum's support but if there's any pushing to be done its probably not Mary whose doing it. ASHLEIGH FTW
WOWOWOW Im well impressed :bored: mind you when there only 3 contestants that not hard to do

Well I'm a self confessed bitch, that's probably why I don't like the girl,I mean if you dislike someone so much at least have the bottle to let them know instead of pretending to be their friend.
Ashleigh never pretended to be Helens friend....Ashleigh disliked everything about her. Helen only confronted Ashleigh after she saw the footage of Ashleigh...when she had reason to. Ashleigh didn't have any reason to confront Helen and tell her what she thought of her...she bitched about Helens behaviour towards other housemates and her nasty controversial attitude. Helen was just waiting for a reason to confront Ashleigh and she got it...
You can't just go up to someone and say what you think of them.. You wait for the opportunity when you yourself are the subject of that behaviour. When Helen got her opportunity Ashleigh fought back...she told her what she thought...it was very intimidating for Ashleigh because she was surrounded by a pack of wolves...and as per usual Helen talked over her and just mouthed off.

Yes she said pushy, nothing about her being a bad mother don't put words in peoples mouths.
It's not unusual for these 'pagent mom' types to be described as pushy and ashleigh does come across as a tad entitled and bratty at times.
That is not to be confused with the behaviour of your average 18yr old.

She also is in no way spoilt and she hasn't show any of it in the house so I don't see where you get this from

It brings me back to the video of Helens and Ashleigh's argument. Ashleigh was saying "Get over yourself" to Helen on the programme where on the uncut video Ashleigh absolutely gave Helen as good as she got and more, so saying Ashleigh didn't say anything to Helen is totally wrong, we didn't get to see it on the programme.
Same with Christopher and Mark, we only get to see what the producers want us to.
Why those who dislike Ashleigh want her to be seemingly perfect so they can slate her when she is merely being the same as every other housemate, seems quite contrary to me.

I don't know why people don't watch the youtube videos its an extra 40 odd minutes of footage most days and shows all the fun stuff and uncut important conversations which look totally different on the highlights.
If people are going to make an argument or an Ashleigh hate thread then they need to look at all the facts not just base their opinion on the highlights edit which 3 of todays top threads have done.
Its getting boring now.

This. I keep getting impression that some people on here expect Ashleigh to be a passive little girl who's all too keen to do as she's told because that's what's expected of her. But We all know that even if she did, she'd be crucified for that too. She, like other women (most of whom have been robbed of their place in the house) simply aren't allowed to win-damned if she does, damned if she doesn't.

Yes Im sure Chris would be very upset by what she said and the spiteful way she said it ,getting close to her has robbed him of the massive chance he had of winning
A lot of people have been robbed of a chance of winning; most of them female interestingly but not many people seem to think that matters. No-one forced Chris to have anything at all with Ashleigh, he did it himself and if he wants to he can walk away now and maybe the GBP'll forgive him for talking to her and perhaps he can improve his chances of winning.

Ashleigh just doesn't know how to have fun. She didn't join in in the very brief pool party, she hardly cracked a smile when the lads did their full monty. In the whole time she has been in the house I have seen her scowl more times than smile (from the highlights shows that is) She can be very pretty but she just looks so miserable a lot of the time lying on her bed hugging the stupid dog or sitting bitching with a miserable look on her face.
Of all the housemates that I saw go in on the opening nights and the expectations I might have had from them purely from their vts and their appearance Ashleigh has been the BIGGEST let down. Agreed Chris licking her sounds very vile but it was a fecking task and in so many, many tasks housemates have been humiliated e.g eating vile things, getting gunged, swinging on a roundabout in previous years, wearing awful costumes, being given electric shocks.
You sign up for BB you know you will have tasks you don't like. Ashleigh is throwing her toys out of the pram. I am literally fed up of watching her but unfortunately she has probably slunk her way into the final
