View Full Version : The worst thing about this twist...

...is that people are going to start criticising housemates for being 'greedy' and taking money and lying in a omg shock horror...gameshow with a prize of £100,000 (or more)
When are people going to realise this is a game with a cash prize at the end? If someone wants to take money and/or lie they're entitled to. It's a TV show, not real life

I'm not really that bothered. This twist doesn't really have anything that's going to make the housemates look greedy or otherwise. There aren't any big incentives and there isn't really an opportunity for them to lie or double cross their friends. They HAVE to choose one of the three to nominate for instance - why don't they get an option to say no? No-one will care about the hair cut thing. And if someone spends time with their family maybe they're just really missing their family and if they don't, maybe it's coz they can't be arsed (for that one, either way could be deemed 'greedy'). Besides that, it's a task and whether or not they think they'll win, they don't lose much for trying to add to the prize fund to make the winner a little happier. It's a pointless twist, imo.

I am never bothered at any housemate setting out to get as much as they can from being in a BB series.
It is usually a one off opportunity for both publicity and a chance to win something so I completely agree with Jack.

The twist so far is about adding money to the eventual prize fund?

especially this year, I really want to see someone walking off with a chunk of it, I think all of them in there now including Pav should take it.

I was thinking that when I remembered how mad they got at Marlon for saving himself from eviction.

Pav especially, I would love if he took it and just gave the rest of them the two fingers for nominating him :hehe:

Greedy by taking money?
The task is about ADDING to the prize fund. There's been no suggestion that anyone can take any cash for themselves.
Seems you've been holding onto this rant and was looking for a reason.

Yeah I just read it and theres nothing I can see about taking the money rather than adding although that could be in tomorrows part of the task. The only thing ive seen about losing money is the family time of the task
