A double eviction will take place in the next Big Brother 2014: Power Trip live show this Friday, bbspy can confirm.

Following a report in the Daily Star hinting at a double boot-out, a Channel 5 spokesperson has confirmed to us that two housemates will be leaving the house this week.

As it stands, Christopher, Mark, Winston and Pav are currently in the firing line after the group took part in face-to-face nominations yesterday evening.

However, another housemate will be put up for eviction later today as part of the ‘Power of Money’ task, which could see the prize fund boosted by £25,000.

In one challenge, Ash, Ashleigh and Chris – the three remaining people eligible to be nominated – will each pick an envelope containing a different monetary amount.

The four current nominees will then choose one of the trio to join them in facing the public vote, and the amount of money in that person’s envelope will be added to the jackpot. Helen is safe thanks to her pass to the final.

According to schedules issued by C5 last week, one more eviction will be held on Friday 15th August, with the date of the finale expected to be announced later this week.

Mark's a definite, but I think it will be between Pav/Chris. Having said that, I don't think people should get lazy about voting for him, otherwise we could end up with a Matthew over Ash result. Pav is still likely to get sympathy votes or 'but he needs more time even though there's only a week and a bit left' votes, so he still needs to be targeted to save Chris. I really wanted a week not having to worry about Chris :(

Xmas/Mark/Pav/Winston will choose Chris... pretty much a certainty. They won't choose Ash, and out of Ashleigh and Chris, not only do they all prefer Ashleigh, they also all know that Chris is more likely to go than her (keeping one of them safe).
