View Full Version : Ashleigh and Helen row

Ashleigh Coyle and Helen Wood face off against one another in tonight’s Big Brother UK in a row over fags.

Following the face to face nominations, Christopher admits he found Pav’s bracelet, which he has been wearing, on the floor and Helen accuses him of being the cigarette stealer.

Christopher doesn’t take well to being called a thief and is supported by Ashleigh but Helen remarks, ”I can’t be a***d with ******ing Judge Judy’s”

Ashleigh vents to Big Brother that she’s annoyed by the Helen and Christopher’s argument.

She takes offence to Helen’s Judge Judy comment and complains: “I don’t really think I’m Judge Judy.

“I actually just think I’m moral and normal and don’t start randomly accusing people of stealing things”

Meanwhile, Helen bitches to Mark that “I was actually having a joke about the cigarette thing and Ashleigh was sniping and sniping and sniping away”

Helen, of all people, claims that Ashleigh “knows she can get away with murder” with the ways she speaks

I'm still surprised at Ashleigh last night in the Diary Room saying that Helen can still get quite aggressive (which is true) but I thought that she would be more understanding that people say silly things in arguments after Ashleigh wanted to “smash Christopher's face through a ****ing mirror” and “does he want me to come after him?” I mean Helen has not even come close to the first comment in particular yet Ashleigh still tries to take a moral high ground over Helen on how they argue.

I like Ashleigh btw but if she looked like Jale or had Helen's past she would not have got away with those comments so lightly, but I'm mainly disappointed in Ashleigh for her blatent hypocrisy.

thf though Helen is 'quite aggressive' all the time and it was not only Ashleigh that said it. Winston said that you can't disagree with Helen without her getting aggressive and then having an argument for the next 10 minutes. Ash agreed.
Ashleigh shouldn't have said what she did about Christopher, but she was asked about Helen's, not her own, behaviour - and saying 'she can still get quite aggressive' isn't really taking a moral high ground in this instance, it's just answering a question....

I love how it's being made out that BB coudn't possibly have called her to the diary room to ask her about the row. Like they do after every row.

I'm sure at some point Helen will be called as well.

Will she sit there saying it's none of BB's business and that she's not a grass when they ask her about the row?

Of course not. Which is why it's a ****ing pointless argument.

The main problem I have been having with Ashleigh is that in the whole series I think Ashleigh only ONCE squared up to Helen. Other than that she bitched to her friends about who was annoying her or her opinions on the housemates she disliked. She is big enough to be upfront and straight and have it out with whoever she is arguing wi9th instead of running to Big Brother about it. Yes Helen probably bitched about her but Helen will also tell her straight her problem with her.

I never thought I would say it at the start of the series when Helen was being absolutely VILE AND BITCHY and Ashleigh was being all sweet and quiet that by the end I would end up actually liking Helen and strongly disliking Ashleigh and that I had been a fan of Chris for many many weeks but I felt he turned into a shady character with the last week ot so who I would no longer defend or support. The only two I think should win now are Winston or Christopher (thought Helen has been on a huge journey of discovery in there and although I think she would be a good winnet I cant see it happening) Anyway just riona's opinion. I must duck the supporters now lol

Do you square up to everyone that you have a problem with?

Once again it's being made out that BB couldn't possibly have called Ashleigh to the diary room to ask her about the row. Like they do after every row.

I'm sure at some point Helen will be called as well.

Will she sit there saying it's none of BB's business and that she's not a grass when they ask her about the row?

Of course not. Which is why it's a ****ing pointless argument.

Well if they rowed about it she obviously vented off to Helen....so that puts paid to your argument. She merely went on to discuss it in the diary room like they all do.

Helen then trying to make out it was a joke... Yes Helen...of course it was. Helen just can't handle Ashleigh's popularity and how she handles situations. Nothing..I happen to like Ashleigh Chuff and you don't. We don't always agree but often we do. I have always enjoyed you on here but I have been surprised by your constant referral to Ashleigh's spotty complexion...it's uncalled for. We are both probably about the same age and I wouldn't like my daughter being judged on thing like that...we aren't here to judge peoples looks. I didn't like Jale when she lost her way but when Helen called her a 'fat cow' it was cruel.
Let's judge people on their behaviour..not looks...you just surprised me by going down that route because it's not like you.

Still love you though...:wavey:

jet
06-08-2014, 12:35 AM
Well it's cleared up for me. Ashleigh quite clearly said that it was wrong to call Christopher a thief, not once, but twice. Which is why Helen sniped back with the Judge Judy comment. So she didn't say nothing. She didn't just say it in the DR.
Now who will admit they were wrong? Eh?

Ammi
06-08-2014, 04:33 AM
..just another twisting of this stuff that is leaked of what's going on in the house...Ashleigh didn't vent in the DR at all...it was the least venting vent ever...she had only just sat down when it was obvious that Christopher was getting upset at being accused of being a thief..whether it be a 'joke' or not...who would think that was funny..would Helen if she was being accused...?..would she say ha ha ha..I don't think so, it's a serious accusation and jokes are only funny if the person you aim your 'joke' at thinks it's funny...just another case of Helen cruelly 'avin a laugh at someone else's expense....and then not liking it when others don't find it so funny and Ashleigh said to let Christopher speak and defended him...she always sees someone pointing out her wrongs as a personal attack...anyway, Ashleigh did nothing wrong there, she was sensitive to how Christopher was feeling and then when she was ridiculed herself for that with the Judge Judy comment, she talked about it in the DR in the most non venting way....Helen really hasn't changed at all/can never seem to see how it is for the other person she's using to have a laugh at or know what's appropriate as 'laughing matter' and what isn't and when she's making someone feel uncomfortable so just to stop and explain she didn't mean it and apologise....

Why do you constantly attack her appearance? It's very suspect.

sampvt

Its probably due to the fact that she (Ashleigh) views herself as little miss perfect when she has flaws that are recognisable herself. Parading yourself as a beauty queen but with oodles of make up to cover an inadequacy can be a demeaning trait in anyone. Ashleigh is a very me me me character and when she does not get her own way she throws the rattle out of the pram and bitches, hence she gets called for her sins and the ''You are not perfect anyway'' statements come out.

Tip
06-08-2014, 06:56 AM
Helen's a bit immature and probably needs a lot of leeway, due to this.

Ashleigh could have sat and said nothing, but she let Helen know she didn't approve of what she was doing.

It could have been handled better and it could have been handled worse. I just think there is so little going on really in the house that these things are getting blown out of proportion both inside and outside the house.

Ammi
06-08-2014, 07:03 AM

..I have never once seen anything in Ashleigh's behaviour that would say she viewed herself as little miss perfect...maybe a small minority of her fans may view her as that in some way but most don't..most see her flaws and imperfections but also see her good qualities as well which is why they like her ...in the DR she said she was 'normal' had morals etc..most of us do and that's why we wouldn't see the funny side of seeing someone get upset because they had been accused of being a thief, whether a joke or not...personal 'jokes' are only jokes when the subject of that joke also finds it funny and it's knowing when to stop and seeing when a person is becoming upset by it...there is also nothing to suggest that Ashleigh is a me me me person more than any other person in that house..in fact in her private life, her work with charities, at supporting other young girls in their self confidence through her own win in the beauty contest would suggest that she very much thinks of others..and there is nothing wrong with a young girl entering a beauty contest..she has said she has been bullied and therefore may have had very little self esteem herself and so much needed to do something in her life that raised that self esteem and it appears her family supported her in that...well done her and well done them...it's probably made her a much more confident person but someone for me who also tries to help others who may not have yet reached the confidence she has....

..if she wears make up because it makes her feel more confident in herself to do so then why not/there is no harm and it's not a negative trait..I don't think she needs it, is beautiful without it and I'm sure that her friends and family also do but it's what she feels about herself that matters..it's make-up, it's nothing/no deal at all....

Some people are taken in hook line and sinker with her so called nice girl things, some people cant see them due to the barrage of other bad traits, so in short, there will always be 2 points of view.

Mine rests firmly in the category of.....she is a spoilt brat with no redeeming qualities and she may be superficially beautiful on the outside but she is dam butt ugly on the inside where it counts. To this end, women that use their looks to gain an edge are the worst kind of people in the world. (behind cyber bullies of course)

Given that its not a crime to do such, how can they possibly be classed as the worst people in the world. It is the norm for men and women to use their looks or character to gain advantage over others when they can, not the exception.

"Using her looks" I feel its to Ashleigh's credit that she has never attempted to gain favour with the male HMs via exploiting her sex appeal. She seldom dresses or acts in a sexually provocative way.

90% of the time I judge her on her vile behaviour ,which I find awful ,she's everything I dislike in a person and a hm8 ,and baffled people are not seeing the real her, the brat, the backstabber, the fake

Still love you too

On what you have said there in your post,I do applaud her on, Ashleigh has a boyfriend and has never from what I have seen even in a minor way flirted at all with anyone else.

I dislike Ashleigh for one reason and that is she is 2 faced and I cannot tolerate such people myself.

As you say it is to her credit that she has never used her 'attractiveness',(I use the term loosely because being attractive does not necessarily make you a good person), to gain favour.

I would certainly guess, unlike so many other boyfriends and girlfriends watching housemates over all series of BB,that Ashleigh's boyfriend will have been really proud of her behaviour as to that in the house.

As you say, that is 100% to her credit.
I am just amazed that anyone is still in the slightest surprised that there will be hostility between Helen and Ashleigh in the house,I am certainly not.
One has a near uncontrollable temper and the other is 2 faced to the degree of almost deliberately winding that person up.
They don't like each other and never will, it is not news anymore,in my opinion.

..yeah, there are always different opinions and 'many truths' which is why we all see different things in housemates and see house situations/interactions differently and what makes for good discussion etc...and of course and often due to life experiences we all differ in what we feel are 'worse' traits are better ones.....I guess that escorting is also using looks/bodies etc to gain edges so there is more than one 'worst kind of person' in the house....or maybe there are just no worst kind of people in there at all..they have all done what they felt was best for them in their lives so far.....

Helen's a bit immature and probably needs a lot of leeway, due to this.

Ashleigh could have sat and said nothing, but she let Helen know she didn't approve of what she was doing.

It could have been handled better and it could have been handled worse. I just think there is so little going on really in the house that these things are getting blown out of proportion both inside and outside the house.

.....and of course plying them with copious amounts of alcohol is going to let the barriers down....

Why expect her to be perfect, she is not, she reacts to circumstances thrown at her. It is only a game and backstabbing is part of it, the way she played the game was strategically to her advantage and others will get shafted in the name of the game.

She has to get on with others on the surface to keep the mood of the house calmer, but does and has said her piece at times, to Helen in particular.

Has it passed your notice that she wasn't up this week, so she can't be that disliked in the house especially if your opinions of her were true, which many others including myself disagree with.

She will be there at the end, for sure.

PS And she is only 18:cheer2:

I don't see Helen as 2 faced, I do see Ashleigh as that and that is something I really dislike in people.

The only people I will shun in everyday life are people that I know are 2 faced, because they cannot be trusted in ym opinion.

With Helen, whetehr she liked me a bit or a lot, or if she intensely disliked me, I would know she did so,I would know and have no doubt where I stood with people like her.
I prefer that any day of the week than dealing with 2 faced people.

Helen - “I don’t particularly like Ashleigh but I’ve got on with her because I’ve had to,” Helen ranted. “In the real word I’d turn around and say to her, ‘I can’t ****ing stand you, do not speak to me do not look at me, do not cross my path, I can’t ****ing stand you.”

Helen - "I've been 2-faced, I've smiled at people"

The very definition of 2-faced.

Now I'm not saying it's a bad thing. Everyone has to be like that or you'd be confronting people left, right and centre. I'm just pointing out the double standards of the people that attack Ashleigh for being 2-faced yet say nothing about Helen or make convoluted excuses for her.

Its quite funny really, Ashleigh and Chris were having a discussion that they hoped would make it in to the HL show and earn them a few brownie points. Not surprised Helen got in a strop about that at all. Everyone is camera acting now, and the winner for me will be the one that does it while appearing the most natural while they do it. This bunch have been much more camera aware than any I can previously remember
