The thing is, if you watch it back you will see the annoying plank that is Christopher actually admitted to being a thief.
Shame they didn't nail him to the cross first before throwing him under the bus.
Did you notice how Mark left Helen to take the heat when it all blew up then creepy Chris followed him.

Doubt that was their aim... at the end of it all Helen quickly voiced her disdain about Ashleigh and Chris.

Also said this from Day 1, he didn't fool me with his, " I am friends with everyone routine"
Sat on the fence? He'll have razor wire up his jacksie.
He also left Helen in the sh!t after Christopher admitted to being a thief. See how he and Chris slope off?

Chris didn't owe Helen any backup at all.

With respect if you don't like her you can do little really, since it will then be a vote to win, only the people who like Helen,or those who want her to win, can do anything as to her then.
As to this issue on this thread, she was under the influence of drink again but I do think it is a bit too far to call someone a thief,I would certainly hate to be called one, joke or otherwise.

He admitted to being a thief!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If i was watching the same show, Christopher just found Pav's bracelet and took it to wear for himself. I know what that equals to me.
They were clearly joking, but carry on with the vendetta:laugh:
Yes Kaz, you know that Christopher is by far my favourite house mate this series [and several others for that matter] but even I couldn't fail to see that there wasn't anything remotely vindictive or nasty intended when Helen decided to 'jokingly wind Christopher up a bit'!...I think that Christopher himself knew well and good that it was only meant to be a bit of light banter....but then it went a bit sour for him because of one reason...and that was that "his friend" Mark irked him somewhat by taking it a little too far in refusing to let Christopher get his point over!
...So it was no fault of Helen's as her many detractors would have it...it was a storm in a teacup that was instigated by Mark, whom still has a bone to pick with Christopher...and too willingly used by Christopher to highlight Mark's pettiness! [because he too is feeling a bit dissatisfied by 'his friend's' attitude toward their 'friendship'] ...
...So the accusations that it was "Evil Helen's Return" are imho totally unfounded, and made with ulterior motives! :smug:
And then when they upset Christopher and get him defensive and angry they play the "only joking" card.
Horrible pair of twonks. :nono:

Umm....what about Ashleigh backing him up and saying it wasn't right to call him a thief? Twice. Why are you ignoring that? To which Helen sniped at her, calling her Judge Judy.

Just after she had nominated Christopher for eviction to his face when she clearly doesn't like the public's favourite Winston more...[for his own good of course! :smug:
That was more about Ashleigh's need to bolster her stock with the anti-Helen voters...she takes every opportunity to have sly little digs at 'Big Bad Helen' because she thinks it makes her look fearless to the public...but we all know that she'd never openly challenge Helen. [outside the diary room anyway] :joker:

She did challenge Helen when she clearly said twice that it wasn't right to call Christopher a thief. To which Helen made the dig that Ashleigh was being Judge Judy.
She also said to her earlier that she would have been out of the house in the first few weeks if she hadn't had the free pass.
Do you filter out the bits that don't suit you or are you just a wind up merchant?

Is that really what you call "Standing Up to Somebody" where you come from Jet???? Some people have led sheltered lives haven't they! :joker:
...A couple of slyly veiled snipes is not openly challenging someone like Helen Jet!...Trust me....Ashleigh will be in tears before long...The big Kahuna Helen is getting near to breaking point with the sulky little brat! ...it won't be pretty, but at least it will get you some more sympathy votes! :smug:

You don't have to do a Helen and rant and shout to stand up to somebody though. I don't know why you think clearly saying "It's wrong to accuse somebody of theft" is a sly snipe. It's a statement of how she felt.
From what you say, you would prefer her to jump up, get into Helen's face and yell "How dare you!" That's not how civilized people behave, I'm afraid, but it explains why you like Helen's way of doing things (before she was given a final warning, of course). Which leads on to Helen not 'standing up' to Ashleigh but making a sly snipe about her being 'Judge Judy' and changing the subject. lol

The irony of that cigagate sage is that whilst Helen and Mark were accusing christpoher of being a thief (joking or otherwise) it was Ash, Helen and Mark who stored (stole and hid) some wine in the store room - so who is the real thief?
Mark is literally the biggest hypocrite in there. Plus, it's painfully obvious that he blames Christopher for the public's perception of him.

Well if we are to discuss this like adults Jet...we firstly have to drop the pretence that Ashleigh didn't understand that Helen was just being playful with Christopher, and acknowledge that Ashleigh was just showboating! .....can we at least do that? ...or are we to insist that Ashleigh's intentions are always altruistic?

Imo, It started off as playful, but Helen took it too far even when it became obvious Christopher was getting annoyed. That's when Ashleigh said her piece to support him, not before.

Well if that's your opinion, then C'est la vie, but I thought that it was painfully clear that it was in fact Mark that was taking it too far [as usual] and that Ashleigh knowing that it was lightly-intended ..was merely playing 'Captain Sensible' for the cameras ...but was jolted by Helen's "effing judge judy" response...to which she beated a hasty retreat to the safety of the diary room. [where she is as brave as a lion. lol] ....:smug:

Both Helen and Mark were taking it too far.
As for the rest, if that is what you took out of it, then fine. I seen it totally differently and there is no point in going round in circles. Time for bed for me. Night! :)

Helen calling anyone a thief is ridiculous since her and her lackies hide a lot of the booze for themselves.

This totally made me think of double standards - it's fine for Helen and her cohorts to stash wine for themselves - you couldn't make it up!!!

Mark has to go. He brings Christopher down. If they want to meet they can do that after the show.
