I'd say this was in my Top 5 series, I think it's been thoroughly entertaining from start to finish. It's lagged in the middle but it's picked back up again for what look likes a phenomenal last week. We've had so much that a series of Big Brother normally offers (but doesn't look like it's delivered the past few years): arguments, fights, sex, halfway housemates, fun things, I've just loved the majority of the series. The only reason I wouldn't is because there is so much negativity on here about this series, I only hope that it begins to get the recognition it deserves after it finishes. Ratings don't always reflect the quality either, BB6 was a far more superior series to BB5 yet the ratings were lower, which I think people don't understand and immediately suggest that this series isn't very good because of low ratings ect.

I agree, the season's had its flaws but it's much better than BB14. Don't really get the hate it gets and the negativity on this forum tbh.

The season ends in 7 days and HL shows are still entertaining and full of drama, while BB14 was a boring mess in its last 2-3 weeks.

It has been entertaining but not in a way classic BB was. Most of the drama and talking points have come from BB stirring by revealing information to set up the scenes/storylines. I still much prefer series that flow naturally.

Loved the first three weeks then it just got awful really and now it's in the bottom three for me.

Too much manipulation, bad housemates taking over the show, good housemates leaving early and **** tasks have made it crap.

The shame is the Power trip ruined the series by putting great housemates up and them being evicted

I agree, if let's say BB6 was handed to them next year, they'd probably still complain about it. Some people can never be positive of a show they're supposed to be good fans of.

I agree that it's been entertaining, but most of it's been down to constant manipulation from the producers (outside info, playing things back to housemates, editing to favour certain housemates). I think they need to rethink their strategy for next year to just let it flow without those factors.

Not really. The dynamics of a series like BB6 is a world away from what BB is now.

I don't think it's fair to generalise either, I could easily say that the fans gushing over it will love whatever they're spoon fed by channel 5. :shrug:

Most people are saying the sh*t C5 ratings are reflecting the downward spiral the show is on. Not hating it simply because the ratings are low. That's stupid.

BB6 being superior to BB5 is subject to opinion and taste anyway so that means nothing.

I agree that forums (here and DS) sometimes ruins your enjoyment. If you log off and talk to people in the outside world, you'd be surprised how much people like most BB series whereas most are disliked on forums.

I remember everyone I spoke to loving BB8 and BB11, but it was slaughtered on the forums, same with BB13 and even this series. I'd say the only series most people dislike (online and offline) is BB4, and the series most people liked online and offline were CBB4 and CBB13.

Also, I don't think ratings always means it's a bad series, it may be the case for BB14 and BB15, as BB14 was regarded the best civilian version and got the highest, as well as CBB13 getting the highest ratings overall for Ch5 and regarded brilliant but it's not always the case. Eg. BB4 did better than BB6 despite people hating BB4 and liking BB6. BB9 did worse than BB8, BB11 doing better than BB10 despite people disliking it more; CBB11 wasn't liked on here despite being the highest rated Ch5 series until CBB13 came along.
