Its because its not cool to watch big brother any more so we are the uncool kids, we don't relate to people like Winston and Mark.

Winston didn't deserve to go and the only reason he did was because he was perceived to be one of Helen's gang, despite the fact that he stood up to her when needed. I am appalled that the public actually voted out someone who showed integrity regarding the pact. Despite the fact that Ashleigh and Christopher are my favourites and have been from the beginning I think Winston was the most honourable person in the house. He is the type of person you'd want beside you on the front line. At least HIS family can be extremely proud of him, unlike most of them in there this year.

I think you need to understand the word integrity maybe even be able to spell it before you can whole heartedly show it.

A good post and I agree with all your thoughts. His eviction was also a shock for himself but he handled it well.I do not think he would have won but he did deserve his place in the final.

He went because nobody thought he would be voted out!
If it was a vote to save Winston would have stayed. The assumption was that nobody was going to vote Winston out so when it was realised that the public could hurt Helen who was protected by the 'pass to the final' Winston became the sacrificial HM to the pass to the finals curse. Also Winston, Ash and Helen had a conversation that 'Winston' was going to win BB and so addad a second set of votes on the gang of people who say 'you must never say you are going to win BB'. (But this may not be so for Pav who has been treated by everyone so badly we should be ashamed to call ourselves human!)

Also it is good for Winston as he now gets extra media cover.

We have to ask ourselves where was Winston's supporters? The others had been tried and tested and they had built up a good fanbase. Even with the threats of past HMs they overcame. Pav was lucky as the majority wanted it to be a Mark and Winston eviction. Some wanted Chris and many wanted Pav.

In my eyes I went right down on Winston when he sat with his massve ego and told Helen to revert back to being herself as she wasnt going to win. To me in his eyes he was already the winner but, a little bit of humility wouldnt have gone astray. He had no right whatsoever to put Helen down like that because imo that is exactly what she did. We have to remember that people were changing toward her and saying that she had changed, bets were being placed on her to win.

Those who cared about Winston could have seen how fans wanted him out, they could have challenged the overall decision in the same way as the others were threatened. They let the Christopher, Ashleigh and Chris fans unite and they overcame, Winston went. I didnt expect it would happen though as I was afraid to just vote for him as it would have put Chris in danger, therefore I voted for all with the exception of Chris and Christopher.

Sweet but he needs to think a bit more.........definitely not a winner for me.

It is no good people coming up with the old chestnut of saying they thought he was safe so they didnt vote, we should know with BB now that this is not the case. None of the 6 remaining are safe but I will continue to vote for Ashleigh, Chris and Christopher with one or two more for Chris but if either of the other two win then I shall be a happy chappie......

I have to add that Winston loved to see an argument, look how he laughed with Helen when Mark and Christopher were having a go, it didnt do him any favours at all.

I agree.

He was the least bitchy HM. He threw himself into the show and the tasks and created more laughs than any other HM. He didn't take himself as seriously as the others.

He stayed true to himself, had integrity in the house and kept his dignity in being evicted.

Decent guy for sure and deserving of a top 3 place.

I have no reason to think that Winston deserved to stay.

I hardly got to know him or anything about him all the weeks he was there - a non entity pretty much.

Yep, nothing bad ... nothing at all really.

:joker::joker::joker:

No disagreement there, but i was surprised how happy i was at his eviction because so many other hm annoyed me more than him during the series.

I think it was the comedy value of the single voice shouting Winston out, with him Ash and Helen grinning, swiftly followed by pack your bags - vintage stuff.

I wanted Winston out not because I thought he was a nasty person or because he was close to Helen but because he never really did or said anything of value.
He only ever spoke up when he thought it would be beneficial to him.
He laughed when others were being ganged up on & thought he would sail through to the final.
I'm tired of watching other big characters make a series only for people like Winston to win it for doing nothing.
We need a winner who has a good balance personality traits.

There was nothing better than Helen and Ash laughing thinking Winston wouldn't be evicted.

I wasn't surprised. We all theorised he had a gameplan of being thick eye candy and laying low. Turns out that was him being real. Personally I voted for him because he was Ashleigh's biggest threat, and I wanted to see how Helen would react to two of her best friends being evicted in one night. I believe Pav has more of a right to be in the final than Ash and Winston anyway, yeah he's been quiet but he's endured bullying and boos every week. I'd still want him gone 5th/6th though

i can only think its a tactical vote by ashleigh chris christopher fans to get rid of a favourite....theres no logical reason why anyone would evict winston. greta guy great interview, genuine and funny
