View Full Version : Helen Her sad life

I read people saying that Helen should win as she has had a bad life and deserves it for carrying on through adversity. I believe that we have a choice on how we live our lives and Helen, unfortunately, has not helped herself to show us that she has overcome the choices she made. She appears to me that she is a hard cold person and I feel quite sorry for her. This is not a reason to vote for her to win. This is just my opinion and there will be some fans who disagree.

It would be nice if people learned to care for those they don't like as much as they care about people they do like.
It's a pity this kind of responsibility could not be taught to Helen.

She won't admit to having a sad life, only when she is called up for bullying people and wants to wriggle out of her behaviour without censure.
Boo hoo, sob story, many have had a life similar whilst growing up but didn't make her choices which she didn't have to but took the money route and has bleated about ever since.
..I kind of went with this one as well but she doesn't do her own hair/her own makeup/has her own business etc...it doesn't sound really that 'sad'...maybe sad parts about it but I would say that most people's have....

Why would we care for people we dislike. We dislike them because have ugly traits...disrespectful and rude... Why on earth would I want to give them a minute of my time let alone care about them.

I do feel sorry for Helen. One of the main reasons I don't want her evicted first is because she'll feel hated and I know that in real life she already is. On the inside it probably feels horrible and on the outside it comes across as aggressive. She's been through a lot tbh

Lots of people have had a rough start and a hard life. It's not an excuse for being a b1tch.
She should get 6th place and have a 2 minute interview

Then why care about the victims of a disaster or abused children or.....slaves etc.
Seek first to understand then be understood.
There but for and accident of birth go I, might also be true

The real sad thing is that this woman will make even more money than the winner.
She will sell every part of her life & be on every trashy magazine cover or television show.
She probably has a ton of magazine & television deals waiting.
It's a ****** up world.

Helen is such a rotten apple she can't even understand when people are actually being kind. Case and point, when Chris and Ashleigh were talking in the kitchen and Helen was eavesdropping. I was getting kind of mad at C & A for letting H off the hook as much as they were, but Helen, being the nasty, disgusting person she is could only interpret it as negative. Maybe, MAYBE, she couldn't hear quite well enough to understand what they were saying but I doubt it since she was able to go back to her brood and fill them in. Sort of. Helen, imo, should be first loser on finale night. I everyone whose had it hard could use that excuse, I'd try to contact a mothership to beam me off this planet because there would be no hope for any kind of decent life here.

Quite agree JCrow. Helen's bitterness is going to eat her up if she's not careful.

If you have been treated badly by others in whatever way you know exactly how it feels , so don't then inflict that same feeling on others using your past as an exscuse to do so.

It takes a lot to deal with abuse from strangers no wonder she's defensive.

You're seriously saying that if you don't care about Helen then you can't care about slaves, abused children and disaster victims?

I really don't think Helen has a sad life.
She has a son to love, a business to run and friends to talk to.
She may have taken a few choices in life that others wouldn't but that was her choice at he time.

It's not that, it's the way she has treated others.
I'm sure she has a lot of good thing in her life but she has shown such a nasty side to her. That IS sad. To treat others so badly.

Helen has had quite a privileged upbringing, she's made choices and decisions that have affected the outcome of her life as we all have, I don't understand the OP's view of her sad life.
There are lots of people in this world that have had an even sadder life, and they are lovely, humble, kind, moral, just people.....she isn't.
She's bitter, vengeful and negative and has learnt nothing other than how to hold her tongue.
I'm hoping she will be first out, but I'm hoping the crowd will be kind to her as she is only human.

What I am saying is that clearly when we don't know if we like or dislike person(s) we can care about them and their circumstance but that changes when when we know them. Why do people behave that way? Under close examination this behaviour might be called 'two faced' or hypocritical. However general behaviour can be ignored and specific knowledge of a person can not be forgotten. So in a sense people we may or may not like generally can be cared for but people we have specific knowedge of can't be treated the sames way. The only way to be consistant is to care about people we do like as much as we care about people we don't like. Tricky I know but there it is.

Not really, I have alot of empathy for people. Like when Kimberly fell ill I felt terrible and so did others, to our peril as it turned out she was full of sh!t. I was reading into Helens past a few weeks back and a bit I remember is two women jumping her and beating her pretty badly due to the Rooney fiasco and I felt terrible for her, same if something happens to her on the outside like it did Pauline after this, I'd feel bad for her. If she was dying in a coma and I could click my fingers and turn her situation around I would etc :joker:
This doesn't mean people have to care for her like they would a friend or somebody who is as far as we know innocent that has been through a tragedy. She's put her cards on the table for all to see, and she nor nobody else can expect anyone who doesn't like what they've seen to have anything but empathy for her. Sympathy will forever be out of the question. :nono:

this ^, some people have to take responsibility for their own nastiness and screw up's in life
