Helen Ash and Winston should all have Been locked in the store room in pitch black, have fish guts poured over the them whilst there locked In the store room, and they should have stayed in there all day! And they should have not been able to dress up for the eviction, stay in their night clothes. Feel sorry for all the other housemates, and Winston laughing was not nice, an apology would have been nice.

It works as a better deterrent to stop rules being broken when you punish them all.

I don't know, you wouldn't punish your child if he had done nothing Wrong, so why punish someone who's not in the wrong, random people don't go to prison because someone out there's done something bad.

^ Kind of Army tactics. When one does something wrong, all others get punished.
To have more effect, they should have given Helen, Ash and Winston something good and leave them unpunished.

They punish the whole house because it's more of a deterrent. If they just punished the individual they'd keep doing things to make themselves look entertaining and no one in the house would hold it against them.

It's to make them feel guilty. They probably wouldn't have cared if it was only themselves being punished.

when i was in junior school our teacher had a green box and a red box and she had like 1000 marbles and all the marbles started in the red box. if all the marbles were in the green box we would get golden time to play for one hour during a lesson on friday. when we were all being silent she'd start pouring the marbles into the green box but when one person started speaking she'd start taking one at a time and putting it back into the red box and are faces dropped.
sometimes she was really mean and just as we'd nearly filled the green box up she'd pick up the green box and pour all the marbles into the red box and we'd all stare at her in disbelief thinking she was some sick twisted woman.

It's BB...NOT DEATH ROW.

Who knows what is going on in this producton teams minds as to providing entertainment.
For me it was just another farce since they had to settle it before the eviction night anyway.

BB often punishes the whole house when talking about noms etc
It hits harder than only punishing the individuals - as when the whole house gets punished they also have to deal with the fallout from affecting the other HMs

It's the first whole house punishment I remember in ages, glad they did it
Glad they did a whole house punishment rather then BB making Helen, Ash & Winston eat some vile food etc
