TASK: Housemates On Trial

Housemates stand accused of being a house divided. As the key figures on both sides of the divide, Helen and Ashleigh will take to the stand, so the court can determine who is most guilty of causing the division.

Other Housemates will act as prosecution and defence lawyers, while ex Housemates will return to be cross examined. The ultimate verdict will be given be Judge Judi James.

Helen and Ashleigh are going to be brought to the stand to face their crimes. The big question is who has caused the divide in the Big Brother house?

The Housemates will be split into two teams. Each team will have a defence lawyer and a prosecutor. Both teams will have time to collate evidence and questions for the witnesses before court begins.

In order to help them, there will also be an introductory VT showing the Helen and Ashleigh venting about one another in the Diary Room. On top of this ex Housemates will act as witnesses.

I couldnt have got to know many of them in the beginning, their constant sexual chatter and vulgarity didnt bode well with a few of the HMs. Instead of spoiling their fun though, they walked away, they were looking down on the incidences and saying that it wasnt for them. Well done you proved that you were not sheep and that you had minds of your own, I would have been in your group all the way along.

The powers that be though always look for the stupidity and negativity of any group because they think that this is what we, the public, want. Not me yuck to a lot of it and I was so glad when Bianca went out and am so sorry that she is presented on BOTS and that they love her so much. Says a lot!

Ashleigh has had several opportunities to be involved with "Helen's clique" and she's turned it down everytime and has sneered at the the idea of doing so. That means the divide is down to her and her reluctance to break it. She knew it herself with her "I have nothing to say to Kim".

Yesterday, both Ashleigh and Helen Wood were put on ‘trial’: The big question is who has caused the divide in the Big Brother house?

Helen and Ashleigh each took to the stand so the mock court can determine who is most guilty of causing the division.

Other Housemates acted as prosecution and defence lawyers, while ex Housemates returned to be cross examined. The ultimate verdict was given be Judge Judi James.

The teams were:

Ashleigh, Chris and Christopher

Helen, Ash and Pav.

In prosecution of Helen, Matthew returned to say: “Helen’s a very influential person in the house and I think she hold influence over her friends over who they should be friends with.”



On the other side, Kimberly made a reappearance to prosecute Ashleigh, saying: “She does isolate herself which can cause divides in the house.”

Danielle McMahon came to Ashleigh’s defence while Steven Good returned to defend Helen, which was always going to be a bad idea.

Giving her verdict judge Judi James said: “I would say that clearly there is blame on both sides, that’s been obvious.

“What we have here are two strong, feisty women who both like to fight their own corner and don’t like to back down.”

Turning to Helen and her team, Judi declared: “”I have to say, while it’s a close call it was your own team that damned you with the word ‘aggression’ and I hereby find Helen guilty of the one of causing the divide.”
