He turned down Biannca imo, that was the turning point in people really seeing through his LAD act

It has been foxing me why Winston was voted out. It could either be tactical voting by the public to get the favourite out so their own favourite can win.....or maybe he just came over as too big headed in task where he 'predicted' 5 housemates would think he was the winner. Even Helen called him a big head.

He didn't really add anything to the house. People just got bored of looking at him walking around with no shirt on.

I think the public would of been on team Winston after biannca threw itself at him.

He got took out because of his association to Helen. But he was far worse than just that and his true colours gleamed through when he raged at Marlon over pressing the buzzer.

He was boring and he went just like his equally boring love interest

He went because there was twitter campaigns by some Ashleigh fans to get him out, he was her only competition tbh.

It was definitely tactical voting but where was his so called fanbase, they could have saved him. I was surprised at the anger which has been written about him since he has been out but I do agree with a lot of what has been said,

Wins ton went because he was getting so full of himself and thought he had it in the bag. He thought he had the looks to get him the female vote...the screams when his name was called made his head grow bigger and bigger. He wasn't humbled by it and never showed much gratitude which made him cocky...I don't think it was down to his association with Helen. Had he been more humble he could possibly have come in the top 3.

There's lots if things that contributed to Winston being evicted IMO but one thing I'm confident about is that none of those things was him turning down Bianca

Nah. It was due to Helen and the fact Ashleigh,Chris and Christopher fans all combined to vote for him.

I voted him out because his nasty side had started to show through - I didn't think he did himself any favours siding with Helen in the money task and ganging up on Chris when Mark and Ash had voted to take the money as well.

All the campaigns wouldnt have worked if he had been a popular with the public,
if people really wanted him to stay someone else would have been targeted ie Chris. In short people were just fed up of him.

And on the flip side, if it were Asheligh fans campaign that got Winston out then surely his fans if he'd had enough could have countered that by voting someone else?

Winston fans can get their revenge by voting tactically! ;)

Probably for Christopher.

I think Christopher will win anyway actually, even if he doesn't have a Winston fan driven campaign (do people actually campaign after their favourite is evicted though?)

Winston's best pal in the house was Ash, and Winston has publicly stated that he wants Ash to win, so if there is a tactical vote, expect it to go Ash's way

I think its all going to get very interesting as the week goes on :bouncy:

I think that was the case in the main.

Also for me, he wasn't doing anything new,nor was he doing anything bad, I always felt he would be a finalist.
However sometimes the course is run and maybe a part too was he had run that course.

I am however,(and I shouldn't keep going on as to this), 100% sure that under vote to save, he would have easily made the final.
Which can likely be said for several this series too.

I'm surprised that so many people think Ashleigh has this in the bag, I really like her but I still don't think she'll win, I think Christopher has it in the bag

Me too, there is a big difference between free online polls and people actually prepared to part with cash. As to who will win, my feeling is for Ash and Pav. They have been steady and non controversial. There is a lot to be said for those particular qualities.

Gosh I enter a thread about Winston and Biannca and find posts about Ashleigh and Christopher.

This is a very weird forum.

Anyway - perhaps if Winston had played up to the cameras with Biannca, both of them may have stayed in a bit longer - but maybe that would have been an act too far for our actor Winston.

I hardly noticed him in the house and it's not him I notice as not being there now - which means for me it was right for him to go when he did regardless of the Biannca thing.

Ashleigh has a huge following and I (as well as others) tactically voted out Winston as I (we) believe he was her biggest threat

I think you could be right. I'm convinced they will be the last two and it'll be a very close call.

If Winston had a huge following then a tactical campaign may not have been successful or even got off the ground.

I think Winston was already not that popular before this started.

Maybe, the impression was given that he was though, he was never boo'd, always got big cheers, plus he was more or less voted nicest HM in the most and least task

Good point.

I was being subjective I guess, and I hardly noticed him in there and he isn't the one I notice as "gone" from the house.

I would probably have stated he was the nicest if asked at any time, basically because he hardly said anything much and we never had any DR with him talking about others.

I wouldn't vote him as the nicest now of course since he stopped being quite so monosyllabic outside the house.

Yeah true enough. The fact that he went in a VTE would suggest to me that it was mainly fans of other HMs who maybe saw him a threat voting him out rather than him being really hated because like you say, he was invisibly nice in there for the most part

He went because of the embarrassing camera run thing..now if the 3 of them had picked up marks 5g on the way then bolted it would have been entertaining, but no, all we got was 3 twenty somethings acting like little kids.

He went due to social media campaigns

Without that i really believe he would still be there and could easily have won

He is the least bitchy HM for sure and a genuine guy with decent morals

He certainly went out of his way to promote himself as that.
I'll reserve judgement.

It was imo.Because the reason people originally liked him was because he was 'nice but dim',However on a few occasions his 'nice guy' mask slipped. He had a go at Marlon. He had a go at Chris and he sat there trying to get Helen to kick off.He was very sly and people saw past his act.

Let's be honest winston didn't do much in the house apart from looking confused all the time, plus he thought he had the winners spot in the bag.

If that's true then I think it's sad because it kind of proves that he was popular with female voters who clearly aren't interested in anything other than some dumb, boring bloke with muscles.

I am still baffled as to why he was evicted to be honest. the only reason I can possibly think is because he was friends with helen...
