View Full Version : Chris Acting during the task?

So during that interview task Chris said he was 'acting' when BB asked him.

I saw no difference in his 'acting' from his character throughout the series.

So do you think he has been genuine throughout or has he been playing a role with him being an actor?

I didn't know what to make of him tonight if I am honest,I still think he is okay.

I think he maybe does act a lot of the time and it is difficult to know when he isn't,possibly when he was drunk was for sure one time he wasn't acting.

Chris is a Legend the amount of paranoia he's stirred up in the house and on these forums is proof of that.

They're all actors.
I don't think Chris' opinions in the diary room are an act as they're usually spot on.
If there was any acting tonight, it was Helen's contrite diary room session. It just looks like she's begging for votes in the final week.

He is brilliant I loved the way he messed up the task, it wasnt to aid the HMs but to prove that they were worthy of being in the final. On paper it was for his own benefit but he couldnt care less. It wont worry him to be out before Christopher and Ashleigh.

It would be too hard to act all the time, look at Mark he tried but failed miserably. Chris was laughing at BB and possibly winding them up. They must all be fed up with these stupid tasks now. Chris doesnt have to sell himself, he is his own person.

Yeah pretty sure he was joking, and making fun out of the fact that people probably always think he's acting just because his profession is an actor

I couldn't tell a difference so possibly.

This is brand new information.

Chris seemed really bad at acting in the house. When he had the power, he was pretty awful at hiding the fact.

I'm sure being an actor in the real world takes a lot of skill and he must be good at it to earn a living. But yea inside the house, he always seemed to be his analytical awkward self.

When he was the power hm I didn't think his acting was off, just his tactics. He picked off too many neutral people leaving only himself as a potential. Otherwise I thought he acted quite well, particularly when we could see how much it was beating him up in the DR.

Also, I imagine acting for films etc. is much different to acting with a purpose of being deceptive in a game like Big Brother

Chris is misunderstood mostly. He's socially awkward and doesn't realise he needs to wink or do some gesture when he's being "tongue in cheek". I took his comment in the task about acting as TIC, he's genuinely not got a bad bone in his bod. He's 30 something going on 14. His reasoning skills are far more developed.

Helen is the best actor. Oscar deserved since the final warning.

Many actors are most natural when they are basically playing themselves. Its the script part of it that defines that they are acting.

Where Chris has shown he is acting (and badly) is during his emotional reactions which are anything but natural - pressing his eyes to force a tear being the most obvious

Having a Starnow profile doesn't exactly mean you're an actor :hehe:

 No one can act 24/7 for 9 weeks it would be impossible - he's just taking the mick and I love him for it.

I think he's had enough now!

He knows he's not going to win so i sort of got the impression that he's giving up.

I don't think he's been acting as it would be incredibly difficult to keep that up:shrug:

I do hate his constant praise he has for Ashleigh, and the constant bigging her up, and friends for life crap....he won't see her for dust when they leave!

I agree with that, she hardly gave a ringing endorsement to him when he said that did she.
Other than her 'homesick' tears, she was rather cold throughout that conversation with him really, in my view I add.

I also see her as quite cold.

She never adds to the conversation, she just laps up all the compliments he gives, when he said i'm never letting you go as a friend, i was thinking "nooooooooooooooooooooooo......just let her go!"

I do think their strange relationship has been his downfall, he could have won if he'd just stayed away.

Again I agree, these 2 have been close on the surface and ashleigh did to be fair turn opinion around as to her but the public then saw Chris still as 'creepy' as to her.

That is still likely the case as to the public with him
While Ashleigh is exalted on high, Chris has paid a price for his 'friendship' with her.
As you say and I add to that, had he been the Chris of his power week time,he maybe could have gone on to win this.

Maybe he should get really drunk again, perhaps he speaks more freely and truthful with alcohol.

He took the piss out of BB through the whole task.

In the final week, he knows it, and BB do this really stupid 'finalist' task!!

Pull the other leg and watch me do the splits!!

I did actually like how he chose to do none of the messy task and appeared to mock the interview:joker:

If he was able to "act" for the whole series then he deserves the win just for being able to keep that up!
