View Full Version : Hate Campaign Against Ashleigh

It cannot be denied that there has, of recent days, been a sudden rise in negative press and comments against Ashleigh, so here is my theory. I believe that ex housemates, those who were part of Helen's crew, are so opposed to the idea of Ashleigh winning that they have somehow instigated, encouraged or orchestrated this hate campaign against Ashleigh. Here are the reasons behind my theory:

1). For the last few weeks Ashleigh has had loads of support from the public, evidenced by comments and polls, but the negative comments started rising when Winston was evicted and Winston seemed to have a lot of resentment against Ashleigh and the idea of her winning during his Q&A session on Facebook and on BBBOTS.

2). Ashleigh did some not-so-cool things weeks ago like plotting to have Ash up for eviction yet people still liked her, but she has done nothing wrong this last week and there has been a lot of negative press about her, yet Helen has done nasty things, even refusing to give the leftovers of the £25,000 to charity and yet, people keep posting helen to win. Aint that weird?

3) Why would the metro post an article particularly about Helen, from all the housemates, on why she should win, if none of the ex housemates from Helen's cool gang did not have anything to do with it or even paid metro to post the article to get people swayed into voting for Helen?

4) The ex housemates who were part of Helen's crew may have gone out of their way to make sure Ashleigh does not win by ochestrating a campaign of hate against her, especially considering that Winston's eviction meant that Ashleigh's chances of winning went through the roof.

5). Is it not wierd that for the last few weeks there was very little support for Helen and a lot of hate, but all of a sudden, for no apparent reason, despite still being her old bitter and nasty self and blatantly refusing to give the leftovers of the divided £25,000 to charity, she dramatically and wierdly enough has had a lot of support this week for no obvious reason?

6). When ever in Big Brother history has public perception and opinion of a Housemate changed on the final week?

7). If you were an ex housemate and you realised that someone you did not get on with in the House has a massive chance of winning and your best friends in the House do not, would you just sit and do nothing about it or would you do something about it, especially if you owned a business and could spend a couple of pounds on a hate campaign against this person you did not get on with?

Just to reiterate, these are the reasons behind my theory. They are mere speculations and presumptions as to why there are so many "helen to win" comments trolling the internet.

I'm not sure if there's a campaign against Ashleigh (probably not) but it seems like Helen has been getting a lot of 'support' online lately.

The Helen campaigns are disgusting. Supporting a nasty bully who is violent, aggressive and racist. Sickening. Bad enough that individuals are supporting it but a national paper joining in is even worse.

I've also seen people on this forum starting to mention Hitler in reference to Helen this evening.

This always happens towards the end of a BB series when forum members get carried away with their hatred towards certain HMs (or even other forum members).

It's worth remembering people - this is only a gameshow.

I don't think Ashleigh actually has very strong public support, my guess would be that only a small number of people actually took part in the public questions and statements as to the housemates.

Although those who did,did so in Ashleigh's favour, that likely wasn't representative of the wider voting from the public as to evictions and now for the winner.

Also, I don't think Ashleigh was the first saved when up for evictions either which again demonstrates a possible lack of strong support from the wider voting by the public too.

There's not a campaign against Ashleigh. There's simply a campaign for Helen, and Ashleigh fans are desperately trying to squash it whilst pretending that they see no threat.

If Ashleigh doesn't have strong public support then it makes me lose faith in humanity. Anyone with a conscience, who has watched the show since day one will see that Helen is the nasty bully and Ashleigh is the one who is against the nasty bully.

Helen being a "nasty bully" or a "perfect angel" doesn't change the fact that Ashleigh has been a bitter, miserable backstabbing bitch.

So you can say what you want about Helen, it doesn't suddenly make Ashleigh's behaviour more positive.

She has been miserable because she is stuck in a house with a nasty bully. She is only just out of school where she was bullied. She went in to BB hoping it would be a fun experience and she ends up meeting Helen. She is back in the playground. How would you cope if you were Ashleigh? Ashleigh has reacted to Helen. Why attack the person who is against the nasty bully?

Can you please clarify for me when/where Ashleigh has stated that she was a victim of bullying prior to entering BB. I've asked this a couple of times now and never received a response. If its being used to explain here reactions to life in the house, then it needs to have some basis in fact - no?

Also, at the start of BB there were many HM there, and Ashleigh still chose to isolate herself, where it was possible for her to have as much fun as she wanted, why didn't we see the fun loving Ashleigh then?

People that take big brother so serious like yourself makes me lose faith in humanity, its a game show, I don't know how you can have so much hate towards Helen, its like shes personally attacked you, shes not a bully, your hatred towards her is too much.
