View Full Version : Why is there ZERO backlash for Christopher

He didn't object at putting his best friend in the house up for eviction during money is power and tonight he agreed to EVICT him with Ash.
Yet I haven't seen anybody say anything about this.
If Ashleigh had done exactly the same as what Christopher did there would be a dozen threads about it calling for her to be hung, drawn and quartered.
Ashleigh gets hated for literally everything and anything she does, yet Christopher's actions get completely ignored. Why?

I thought that  why on Earth would he choose Chris over Pav? Funnily enough, people have been finding reasons to insult Ashleigh over the situation, while completely ignoring Christopher's actions... :smug:

I believe Ashleigh is hated for who she is rather that what she does. The hate already exists and then whenever something happens it is pounced on to justify the hatred that already exists. She is not hated because she BITCHES about Helen, but because SHE bitches about Helen. If Ashleigh wasn't beautiful and had the exact same attitude towards Helen and her nasty gang and was a victim of bullying at school, she would have FAR LESS hatred aimed at her.

Can't really disagree with that tbh, Ashleigh isn't perfect but some of the things people call her up on is hilarious. She could literally fluff up her pillow before bed in an episode and there will be a million threads going on about how violent she is. :hehe:

It's 2.30am, most people won't have seen it yet. Wait until they wake up.

Actually, yeah, that's a good point tbh. :joker:

Though in the thread: http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/forums/showthread.php?t=261228 quite a few active members have taken the situation in and dismissed it/spat on Ashleigh. In 5 pages one person thought it was abit suss that he did what he did.

I think he was trying to be impartial and judge it based on 'who wants to be there' and Christopher has twice said that about Chris (when they put him up last week and during the finalist's 'face to face' thing). All 3 times have felt really dodgy to me, but I think he's just trying to be objective about it.

So you were a Christopher fan and now you're a Helen fan? That seems to be a running theme over the past few days.

I have been an Helen fan from the beginning. Hated Christopher at the beginning, then he grew on me. But after last night i'm done with him.

Is that the Helen you liked at the beginning and the Christopher you hated?

Some people say that both Ash and Christopher KNEW it was a fake eviction before they put Chris up and they got this information in the diary room!

There are many, many things to dislike her for other than the way she looks, change the record, the song is getting boring :idc:

I'd be pretty surprised if they got rid of Chris over Pav, unless Ash said well you have 2 friends left I have one so we have to pick one of yours? I have no idea whats happening with this task though

I don't think so really... I can't see Ash putting out Chris over Pav. He's got on with and liked Chris at times and I honestly don't think Ash or Helen ever really developed a bond with Pav... just needed him on side for numbers. If it came down to it, I think Christopher could easily convince him that Pav as a "newbie" should go over any of the originals. Plus, outside of all of the drama and bickering, Ash is alright with all of the other three... if Helen and Pavr eally were gone, Ash, Ashleigh, Chris and Christoper (heh... matching names...) would get on fine for the last few days. They'd just all sit together, Ash woulld integrate with them fine.

It would be a classic "boring final week", though... everyone getting along and reminiscing and nothing actually happening :joker:

Oh God, I'm finding watching this series so stressful though at times I was looking forward to a calm and "boring" final week

I think you're right though about Pav/Chris, I'm so confused about this task

An Ashleigh supporter starting a negative thread about the second favourite and main danger to Ashleigh winning.

Winston got the same treatment, and went from quite popular and one of the favourites to being more unpopular than the exciting Pav in the space of a couple of days.
