I for one will be glad. I used to watch Big Brother and enjoy it, now I actually hate it and it's more of an addiction.

So you won't be hanging around for CBB starting on Monday?

tbh though if you're gonna be negative i'm not sure why you bother watching. it just spreads and makes others feel that way too. (no offence)

Yep, I have agreed that this will be the last bb I watch. They've gone too far this year.

Overall I agree with you there Achilles, although I don't hate the concept of BB,this series has been real torture almost to stick with and if the next series is anything like this one,I think i will give up totally on the whole thing.

CBB will be different as I doubt they would dare have so much uncertainty and ridiculous twists as this series.

I agree, I find myself getting infected with some of the negativity about this series but then realise I do actually enjoy watching it every night

I kinda hate what it's become.Everything just seems so contrived and over edited now.The house mates have all had some kind of media attention and more than likely only got in due to their agents connections.I mean i was told earlier that Christopher was on Tipping Point FGS!Will still keep watching though as i've seen every series.

Finally, can't wait for the show to be over tbh

It's not just because of the producers, editing and manipulation, I can't watch a show where so many people like such a nasty person as Helen. It was the same as 2 years ago with Conor and others like Arron and Caroline.
Will just go back to my Star Trek marathon, much more entertaining and enjoyable.

Hurrah!

We have seen some pretty good episodes over the last 70 odd days but enough is enough, the twists and manipulation has been to much for me as a viewer this year I kind of feel relieved its ending on Friday.

Im still a BB junkie though and have voted for my winner like a dutyfull little minion lol.

I will be tuning into CBB to see if they can do damage limitation and claw back the viewers but with the civilian series getting pointless twists in the last days I think that's what we should expect from CBB aswell.

They obviously haven't learnt their lesson regarding constant twists and outside info as its happened again today with questions from fans and ex housemates returning. you would think after 70 odd days of bad feedback from fans they would adjust or tone it down but nope, producers know best even when those low viewing figures come in.

It's been a bad series, but I do want these two things to happen and then anything else can happen in the final then.

1. Pav out first.

2. Helen to finish in the top 3.

That's all I'm asking for.

Then log off. The amount of people who allow other people's opinions to affect their enjoyment of a tv show is baffling.

Not when it comes to serious issues like bullying. Helen is a nasty bully. Ashleigh doesn't like Helen because she is nasty and a bully. Yet there are people who support Helen for being nasty and a bully and hate Ashleigh for not liking Helen for being nasty and a bully. It's hard to enjoy anything when you faced with that.

I did agree with you as to the op but the above post I don't. No one has been a bully in there this series.
They have been nasty but no bullying, not in the real meaning of the word at all.

You're not faced with anything. It's a Big Brother message board, you agree with some you disagree with others. Taking it that seriously is ridiculous.

If it affects you then don't involve yourself with those discussions that upset you so much.

Spot on Joey, the bully word has been way overused this series.

Btw Achilles I've only watched DS9 and Enterprise of Star Trek so far and I loved both of them, what would be the next one to recommend to me would you say? And what's your favourite Trek series?

I'm so glad I stopped watching when I did (after Matthew left). The highlights shows were becoming such a chore to watch over the course of my final viewing week.

This series has just been one gigantic mess and it's very unfortunate that it turned out this way.

It's really sad to think how downhill this series went. It was a really, really great series before Toya got evicted, but it turned bad very quickly.

I promised myself that I wouldn't watch this year's summer CBB as I detest the fact that they have two a year and have decided to shorten regular BB because of it. However, as this year was such a disappointment, I will, for the first time, be watching this year's summer edition. I'm very happy that this series is finally over so we can move onto something new.

The show up to Armageddon week was perfect in my eyes. It's dragged alot since then and I am pretty glad it is over soon now tbh. I personally didn't mind all the outside info and twists apart from the ones where HMs were evicted without a vote(Danielle & Marlon). The evictions this series have been quality. Toya,Matthew and Winston all resulted in brilliant reactions, but it's run it's course now.

I liked it, it did drag a bit after week 7, it could of been so much better without power trip tbh

This. Besides...The Helen support is hardly that vocal on here. I've put up with the Aaron,Deana and Ashleigh love fests on here since I signed up.. All HMs I didn't like, but if anything it's more enjoyable that way really.

The series could have been more lively with Biannca tbh. I kinda wish she wasn't evicted now.

It's not that I haven't enjoyed this series because I have. I think there's been far too many twists for seemingly no reason other than to **** around with nominations. I also think all the attempts to cause arguements for literally every task and then calling individuals to the diary room to "calm down" because it's all getting a bit close to OFCOM regulations.
Natural needs to be the theme for next year, not in title but in feel. I'm not that confident with Viacom's takeover to be honest. I can't imagine a company that is responsible for Geordie Shore will make massive improvements to a show like Big Brother.

The word wouldn't have been used at all if there was no reason to use it, but a lot of people seem to think that word is indeed needed to be used, so there must be a reason.

It won't, Geordie Shore is such a highly edited show in itself, so I completely agree with you. We'll get wannabees like on Geordie Shore, someone already said way back when people were celebrating Viacom buying the channel that Big Brother will only get worse, although some plus sides are that they will be willing to invest in the house and live feed as they are such a large company who wouldn't miss the money.

The word has been thrown around this forum every time an argument has been had in any BB. It's been rendered useless.

Day 8.

Yes, we kind of dealt with that back in week 1 and 2, you know, when it was current?

Shall we also discuss Chris and Jale? No, because it's over half a series ago.

I won't be sorry it's over as I'm looking forward to CBB - apart from the manipulation and outside information the main thing that has spoilt it for me is the concentration on Helen and Ashleigh - there have been other HM's in there but they seem to have been sidelined for the argument storyline which is a shame imo.

Thankfully.

It's been a draining series and I don't look forward to it nor do I care if I miss an episode - BB13 and BB14 I always had to catch up and was sad when they ended even though BB14 was pretty average in hindsight.

Looking forward to The Final though - Ashleigh or Helen to win :)
