Many of the housemates and ex housemates and also Helen herself have said that she does most of the cooking, washing peoples clothes for them etc yet over the whole series we have never once seen this...

They showed us Pauline constantly cooking though when she was there, is that because they wanted her to look like the 'mother hen' of the group but couldn't have us seeing Helen in that way? :think:

Things like cooking, baking, washing their own clothes etc used to be important parts of the highlights, I'm not saying it was pure entertainment but it still showed us them living properly in the house and all the little things the housemates do daily that show they are normal people......

This is where Live Feed made this show much more than any other reality tv show, we could get to know the housemates 24/7 not just the tiny parts they show us on the hl's :sad:

They only showed Pauline cooking cos she used to give out to them for being greedy arseholes (well Jale and Christopher anyway)

Yeah I saw that too but my point is they show us the housemates in the role they have carved out for them, Helen for example couldn't possibly be shown as a 'mother hen' type housemate because she was one of the 'baddies'

This is why we need live feed so much.

I agree, but in the last week or so we have seen Helen washing up etc, and Ive heard people say she cooks, cleans and she is always washing Ash's clothes, see how she laughed at him, trying to do it himself, from the secret room

I think its probably due to the fact that they have 1 hour for highlights and therefore not enough time to show us their overall participation in day to day house life, that why you are correct about live Feed, it gives us a much better and rounded view of HM's and means that the producers cant edit to suit who they want to be popular or not

The question is, would Ch5 be brave enough to bring it back after 'fight night' BB6 I think? ruined it

I thought most of them said that Chris/Christopher/Ashleigh were always cooking and cleaning. Helen and her gang often bitch about how they're more interested in cooking or cleaning than being immature in the garden. A lot of the live tweets are about Chris cooking something or other as well. Who knows. It's a mystery without live feed.

Yeah I've seen Ashleigh in the kitchen cleaning alot
