View Full Version : has helen been bullied?
the truth

absolutely everyone is criticizing her all day every day for the past several weeks
even her beloved ash is taking the mickey all day long
shes actually laughed some of it off too
i think its gotten out of balance in the past few weeks, partly as a backlash against her foul mouth
but often shes an easy target now for insults, when others are getting away with a lot more

She's been backstabbed, but been the better person for just ignoring it ,I really wanted her to rip into Ashleigh when she went back in from secret room, but fair play to her,she rose above it,and turned it to her favour

I think the bullying Dermaglen Dottie has been dealing out has been disgraceful. Helen has done well to keep her hands in her pockets in the face of a deliberate campaign by DD to make her loose it. The zit covered peroxide foul mouthed 18 yr old needs to be gone tonight and leave us with real people for a change.

Yes she has been bullied, by BB and by housemates. Anyone that takes the time to look up the full definitions of bullying will see it confirmed too. A very good example of that was the whole trial task where BB put both Helen and Ashleigh on trial for a division that BB had created. Found Helen guilty and had Ashleigh enjoy a party that Helen could not join in with. Classic bullying

I don't think she was really bullied in general, but I completely agree with you regarding the court trial. I found it so unfair to lump all the blame onto just one person and the trial should never have been held regardless of what the outcome of the verdict would have been.
All that trial succeeded in doing was making me hugely sympathetic towards Helen, more annoyed and frustrated than ever with Ashleigh and really disliking her more for "getting away with everything" whilst Helen got all the blame.
(I know it's not Ashleigh's fault there was a court trial task, that was all BB, but for me it just really highlighted something I'd been feeling anyways -ie that they were both bitches at times but Helen seemed to get a lot more stick for it)
Helen was sobbing her heart out over this and it was very sad to watch.
I know some people may say now that BB producers engineered this for Helen's favour to gain her sympathy, I don't know if this is true. I think it more likely they just wanted more drama and tension and thought this would be a good way to about it.
Whatever the reasonings behind it, it was nasty and cruel to do it. Any psychologist working for the show should never have allowed it imo.

I know I am in the minority but I see a bully as someone who picks on a weaker person who cannot defend themselves and either verbally or physically attacks them. I am very very careful with how I use the word bully. Yes there were plenty of verbal assasinations on this years BB but EVERY single one of the housemates was MORE than capable for standing up for themselves. Bullying behaviour has been used a lot and maybe in some of the fights it might be deemed such but everyone was perfectly able to fight back if they chose to do so. THE ONLY proper bullying I have EVER seen was when Jade Danielle and Jo?not sure of the other girl totally and utterly bullied Shilpa because of what she was and she found it extremely hard to fight them. Sorry but this is just my opinion.
