I've been half into this series but from what i saw it was the best and most fitting final 2 so i didn't really care who won out of them two. might of slightly preferred Ashleigh but whatever

Disgusted. It's been manipulated since day 1.

bb producers in their office wanking themselves silly to the potential newspaper headlines "rooney prostitute wins bb"

the gutting thing is even though her behaviour was bad (misunderstood by morons), to win after being given a free pass to the final is a joke, it kills the whole point of what big brother USE to be about, she was hand picked and favoured by the producers

Lex

I'm a Christopher fan since day one...and would have dearly loved him to win!...But it was obvious that the phenomenal rivalry, and need for one-upmanship between the two sets of fans would make it almost impossible for someone as inoffensive as Christopher to work themselves into such a frenzy of voting frequency as the girl's rivalry generated...and so my series favourite Christopher finished just about as well as could be reasonably expected!

....But as to ..am I happy that Helen won?....You can bet your life I am!!...Helen has become my firm second favourite, and is so much more a deserving winner than the totally false 'China-Doll'!...and in the absence my boy winning....Helen is by miles the best of the rest!!

....WELL DONE HELEN! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Would have preferred Ashleigh or Christopher, but this is a thousand times better than last years result. Love her or hate her Helen has carried the show this year. I am slightly worried though that the producers will see this as a green light to fast track people to the final more often :umm2:

The thing is Ashleigh doesnt mind she has not won. You can tell. She is genuinely happy to be back with her family, she is happy they are all friends. They are both winners - but for Helen this could be a much needed confidence boost - she could really learn from this. Yes she had a pass to the final - but she could have been evicted first tonight and she wasn't. Be Happy Its a Good Result for All.

Absolutely over the moon, I was voting for her but deep inside me I really believed the best she would get was 3rd,however as today went on and I was talking to people who were voting,I was surprised how many were now supporting Helen.

I felt it was then possible to run Ashleigh close but I was over the moon when she won.
Well deserved in my view as both in good and bad ways she has been the star performer for the whole of the series and not just part of it.

Great result, in my opinion anyway.

She won because she was truthful, end of.

Disappointed, BB did everything in it's power to ensure she won. She got the whole 'redemption' storyline forced upon her and she was often given tasks that painted her in a good light while BB did everything they could to destroy Ashleigh's chances.

It's a very manufactured victory. I do like that a bitch won for once but I'd have preferred it if it was the bitch that wasn't so highly favoured by BB.

mrflibble
15-08-2014, 11:17 PM
Disappointed. She didn't get to have the real BB experience for one and it also means a nasty bully has been accepted for being a nasty bully and she'll continue to be a horrible and judgmental person. I also don't really buy the result. No way did she get more support and votes than Ashleigh fanatics :/ second I could buy, but it just doesn't make any sense. Ashleigh and Christopher were the only ones with a chance at winning, IMO. It just seems too scripted to have the entire show revolve around Ashleigh and Helen, who had a pass to the final and was hated by most people, end with them as a final 2 and for her to win to a pack of boos. Doesn't add up.

Aw yeah, I know you didn't like Ashleigh but I hope you did see at the end and especially the last day or so, she is only a little girl really and I think this whole experience will be a learning curve for her as it will hopefully be for Helen too. Helen Wood faces police questioning when she leaves the 'Big Brother' house.

The 28-year-old former escort will be grilled about her relationship with her ex-boyfriend Louis Larsson - who was jailed in 2010 for firearms offence but breached his bail conditions and went on the run in Morocco and Cyprus for more than a year - to see if she was involved with assisting the crimes.

Prostitute, bully, gun running boyfriend - and people voted for her...

..disappointed that HMs I liked better didn't win but toward the end when it was all more relaxed and less 'interfered' with in terms of promoting the 'two villains' and which was worse, type thing...it was so much easier to see the balance of all of them and I started to like Helen and Ash more..I loved when Ash cried when Ashleigh made her dinner speech and even found myself wanting him to win/bizarre..I just hate that so much 'hate' has been promoted and encouraged by BB this year and marred it for me...

A victory for common sense. Helen did very little wrong other than wonder why a group formed in a corner that chose to criticise and generally turn their nose up at what they feared were more interesting poeple.

A group that would stop talking whenever you walked in the room, a group that thought they were actually better than the supposed 'Cool gang' and substantiated their poor reflection of themselves by trying to justify what was going on and bolster their own self worth.

You find that people that were in the victim group were in there for a reason they have terrible confidence issues, poor self worth and image problems, but that's not the 'supposed' cool gangs problem, they as a group are in there to have a good time and don't really notice a difference until the 'victim' group assemble and with draw.

Which is exactly what happened this year.

I'm still very suspicious, I just still cant believe that so many people bought the Helen story.

Every single poll I saw Ashleigh wasn't just in front but she was in front by a landslide, and although those polls don't tell the full story, they do give you a very good indication, all the other placings in the polls like Pav 6th Chris 5th Ash 4th were all spot on.

Then there's the fact that people called this result in about week two, some people said that Helen has been set up to win, that they're gonna turn her around in a redemption story, and that's turned out to be 100% correct, coincidence?

Never before in 15 years of Big Brother has someone that's been such an obviously nasty and vulgar person in the house come out the winner, so history's not even on her side.

I think there is good reason to be suspicious, but what can we do about it? nothing.

The moment I knew Helen had won was just before Emma interviewed Christopher, she said, keep voting because it's neck and neck between the two, that raised big alarm bells for me, because as far as I was concerned Ashleigh was well in front and was a clear winner, but the moment Emma anounced that my first thought was Helen's won and this is fixed.

I'm still not buying it.
