BB15 - Final thoughts thread

Share your final thoughts and sentiments be they positive or negative concerning the late series. What did you like? What did you dislike? What would you change if you could? Would you like the series to continue? (We know it´s coming next year, but still)

The series would have been low ranking even before the result. It has been a hell of a slog to get through and incredibly joyless throughout. Helen's pass to the final for me represents the major flaw of the series; an obsessive need from production to contrive drama throughout but at the expense of show credibility and authenticity, far too many times production relied on cliched twists such as secret rooms and playing conversations and whilst they may have caused conflict it got very tiresome, and this is coming from someone who normally loves a good argument or two.

Channel 5 IMO had a great pudding with 13 and 14, where the casting was good and twists were justified for the sake of improving the show, but 15 added too many eggs to the mixture and left us with the mess that followed. This has been a bad series and IMO Helen winning it is symbolic of how poor it was.

Decent series with a great ending result, but major changes need to be made next year. This series was very much needed to ensure the survival of BB, hopefully they really try to re-invent it next year.

I hated the general theme. It was far too cliché and messed up many things such as nominations, eviction order, etc.

The cast themselves were okay, I felt that there were people to root for but there wasn't anybody who I completely loved. Ashleigh was a good part to the series because it's good to see someone stay reserved the first couple of weeks and then come out their shell as they get more comfortable.

I just think that most of the twists were awful, and C5 haven't stepped up their game editing wise or in terms of how the show is actually produced, but then again I'm not surprised.

I'd give this series a 3 or 4 out of 10.

Enjoyable but frustrating.

Had the potential to be great, and the housemates were an interesting group. There were far too many twists that seemed unplanned and last minute just to try and stir up more drama. Next years needs to be more straight forward.
I also felt like the twists and the editing were heavily manipulated by the producers in order to favour certain housemates, which I guess is present every year, but this year more than ever.
And even though I liked the group of housemates, I think they need more likeable people next year.
