View Full Version : If you could only watch 1 TV show for the rest of your life....
..?...I won't do a poll because there are so many....
I would say Big Brother but after BB15 I find it very, very hard to say that

Pfft :spin:
No, I have reasoned it thus:
What is it about both that I love? The humour, the humanity, the dark and light sides of human nature. The stories.
What one has that the other doesn't is competitiveness and unpredictability (for the most part)
Congratulations to BBUS
There, Ammi. You made me do it

Haha, not really harsh, I often need a push to make me decide upon which side of the fence I am sitting...perfect topic to make me do just that.
I think BBUS is a love / hate thing if you are used to BBUK...I prefer it because the game twists and turns so frequently, and the end result is decided by those who are in the best position to judge, the HMs themselves. It makes the whole gameplay a lot more strategic and dynamic. I would love to hear your thoughts when you give it a try!

Just had a look on imdb for Orphan Black because I'd never heard of it, I think I will give it a try now.
There are a lot of series I love, like Game of Thrones, but the reason I didn't go for one of those was the longevity thing...I adored Heroes and Lost and Breaking Bad and Dexter but I feel it's hard to keep the impetus and originality going if we're talking about rest of life (which I hope will be a long time!)
Hmmm GoT or TWD. I can't choose between them

I agree with this.. either that, or Big Brother, if it was different series one after the other

..oh I started watching yesterday but only watched the first launch show with the first 8 housemates going in...I liked Donny and his family but that's just on a VT fist impression and they all seemed nice...I look forward to sharing thoughts as I catch up on it a bit...
Raw.
Arrested Development if we're not counting wrestling.
..yeah wrestling is always an option in this Stubear...when is wrestling never an option..so Raw it is then....

Hard question coz most of my favourite TV shows are only 1-2 seasons long and I'd probably get sick of them. I never tire of The Young Ones and Firefly (my two favourite shows), so probably one of those. South Park or Monty Python's Flying Circus would also be good options because of their length. But then I might not want to watch funny shows forever. I don't know :(
