Since when has a winner been boo'd so much. It just doesn't sit right.

It was a pantomime crowd, simple as that. Remember that the crowd were also cheering for Winston and booing the other housemates - who ended up evicted.

I feel like an evictee being cheered is much different to a winner being booed :/ but that crowd seemed a bit miserable in general to be honest, it seemed like everyone was getting some boos. Maybe it was Pav's family booing everyone else?

hehehe totally.
Just reading a survey on Mirror TV... 72% respondents not happy Helen won

Have to say, I was surprised/shocked that there was such animosity to Helen winning in many quarters. The housemates were all gracious in defeat, but that didn't seem to filter down.

I wasn't really surprised personally. As tonster just quoted, 72% weren't happy she won, what a huge majority! I can only imagine that those 72% (well, the ones that voted) were split between Ashleigh and Christopher since they both had a pretty good chance of winning too, I couldn't call it when it got to the final three.
I was really glad that the housemates were gracious about her win, but I'm sure when some of them look back at it, e.g. Christopher and the wasp/boring incident, he'll be pulling his hair out wondering why the public deemed her a more worthy winner than him. And I bet his family are thinking the same!
