okay so I've been at V Festival this weekend (from Friday night until I got home) and it was my first proper festival experience with camping and what not.. I might have had to fork out on wellies (after ruining £130 trainers, nice one), my back may ache and I may feel like death, but seeing The Killers, Lily Allen, Katy B, Example, Sub Focus, heck, even Alan Carr in the comedy tent has completed me  and I've got three days of work ahead of me before it all happens again but twice as worse for a longer period (Reading festival).. I've only just got in because the person who gave us a lift back filled up her diesel car when it had none left in it causing it to break down.. Yeah, I've gotta be up at half 6 but I thought I'd just share this with you all

I don't mind it when it takes the piss out of lad humour, which is kind of what he does since it's a character. People that enjoy things like the LadBible unironically though :umm2:

Watching Stoke Vs West Ham live in the middle of a storm with no roof cover is still>>>>Lily Allen.

Seeing The Killers topped it for me, always been one of those bands who I've wanted to see and Brandon Flowers is just such an effortless performer. Fantastic..
...haaaaawwwww.....a great experience eh, Jake...my sons used to always wear those workwear boots..?..I don't know what they're called but as an alternative to wellies....

Hunter boots? Literally don't know lol
..I'm not sure, I'll try to get a pic of them and post them on your wall later..I know how much you were looking forward to the festivals though so I'm really happy you enjoyed it..V isn't far from me and is one of the 'tamer' ones so I think you'll love Reading..it's meant to have an amazing vibe...I only ever went to one festival but I opted out of the whole experience and just went for a day and didn't camp over....
..not exactly but this type of thing...mainly also because we know someone who gave them to them free because of the industry they work in...but I think my eldest realised from his first festival experience just not to take anything that you might want to bring home and wear again.....

Workwear boots? He'll look like he was wearing his dad's clothes.
...I think festivals are less about fashion/trend and more about survival Marsh.....and just being able to throw it all away when you're finished...
..did you just shade Jake's dad there...(I'm joking..)...
..bless him he's gone to sleep now anyway..he should wake up on Thursday...

Justin was great, Blondie seemed like a bloody looney but I appreciated her at the same time, I've seen Tinie at another festival but he was great there

V is an amazing atmosphere, I couldn't go this year because I am paying for my trip to New York still but I went last year and LOVED it, I was knackered in the end but we were near the front of main stage for T
Paloma Faith, Jessie J, The Script and Beyoncé and honestly it was the best time of my life.
Glad to hear you enjoyed it, my friend Katie went and said the high point was Alan Carr.
