I like Gary Busey as an actor, respect him.. made some damned fine films.. but PLEASE remove him from the house... he is clearly not well.. he is either under the influence of a substance/alcohol or he has mental issues... This is NOT the big brother we know and love when people like that can be allowed in... it is NOT entertainment. Get him out please!!!! :nono::nono::nono:

I felt seriously uncomfortable there, it's well known he is easily confused due to his accident. Hopefully it was just nerves and he'll be fine after a while, because I have always wanted Gary Busey in CBB, but if he's like this or worse in 24 hours, he should be removed for his own safety.

He actually has brain damage and other injuries he suffered from a bad motorbike accident and that's why he's the way he is.

he had an accident in 1988.... if he was as bad as he shows himself now for all those years, he would have not been able to make such amazing films and show such talent... sorry but there is more to it.. he needs very careful watching and removing.

The thing is though this is how he is all the time so they knew full-well that he's like this. He was exactly the same on Celebrity Apprentice and he had loads of abuse of other 'celebrities' on there even after he explained why he acts like he does.
He can barely hear and has to wear hearing aids too and that's why he struggles to understand people, especially when they don't have American accents!

Its out of order that people are so quick to write him off just because he got a bit disorientated going in tbh :umm2: He was briefed that Emma would ask him 3 questions before he entered and that's what caused the confusion he just never realised she had done it already.

I think begging people to get him out is highly offensive by the way.
He had a brain injury yes, hes suffered with addiction yes but he has agreed to go on the show.
He has appeared on far worse reality shows.
He is a 70 year old man who is very active and chatty and I think he would be deeply offended if he knew people like you were saying he has to be removed because hes unstable or whatever.
What will be will be hes not entered The Hunger Games its Big Brother and if he feels it gets to much then he can decide himself to leave.
I think a petition to get him out is highly offensive by the way.

This is how he normally acts on all the reality shows he is on.
His only problem on Celebrity Apprentice was his inability to stay on task and focus. Otherwise he was fine, although some of the others were awful to him.
..yeah I was thinking that last night, that the tasks would probably be the only other thing he may struggle with as well as the launch night but I thought he didn't cope with that too bad but interacting with the housemates at his own pace and more relaxed will be fine and I think just because there is certain things he'll find less easier than others, he still wants to be there for whatever his reason/fee etc and should be given that chance...I hope the media aren't cruel to him..but then he probably won't care if he's getting a huge fee...anyway he has had a heck of a life and has much to offer in terms of his 'story' and I'm hoping for some great conversations from him...

But if you removed him then you would need to find another celebrity to put in the house or the name of the show wouldn't be fitting.
I mean come on, the house should have at least one celebrity in there, right?

Totally agree!!!
You could see where they were coming from at first on Celebrity Apprentice because it just seemed like he was all over the place but even after he fully explained that he'd suffered a severe, near-fatal head injury resulting in permanent brain injuries and also that his brain damage had a severe impact on his ability to hear (he has to wear two heavy-duty hearing aids to hear anything at all!),his ability to process information and also on the way he reacts to and copes with situations they cut him some slack for about 2 minutes and then they were trying to throw him under the bus at every given opportunity, trying to get him fired and i think they even wanted to purposely throw a task and then ask Trump to get rid of him!!!!
I was absolutely appalled with the way they treated him on the show!!! Considering it's being played for charities they weren't very charitable to his situation at all!!!!:bored:
I thought that given his illness and state of health he was amazing on the show and while he did come across a slight inappropriate it was very easy to understand once he explained what was going on!
I think it was just a case of the other celebs were jealous that Gary was getting so much love from the public and from the people they had to work with and they thought he was inferior to them and the thought that he was in with a good chance of winning didn't sit well with them! Assholes!!!!!
I hope they don't just all gang up on him in CBB. That would suck!!!!:nono:

..I didn't see the Apprentice but I also think that we've had housemates/celebrity and otherwise who have contributed very little in the past so if there are things he will struggle with like some tasks, then that really shouldn't matter if there are other things he brings to the house...

Gary may be a bit slow and confused but don't think that should be a reason to be calling to have him removed because of a mental impairment. Think it's good to show on TV how people with brain damage can still lead normal lives and entertain also. If they put more brain damaged contestants into big brother then they would not be out there voting for Helen to win.
So give Gary a chance as sure he is a capable man people and will be a great housemate.
