People really annoy me when they say this, they are celebs you can't debate that all fame is is being known by loads of people and getting media attention which thy all have. Do people want Channing Tatum or Beyoncé in the line up cos they ain't getting them

Agreed, people say it every year whereas I personally just like to enjoy the show (even though I will always prefer the civilian version, well apart from BB15 maybe :laugh:)

There was a time where it took a bit more than being a recognisable face to be a "celebrated personality" but it's no use quibbling over it now. The show's been going 13 years. :laugh:

We are entitled to say what we want uniquedude. I created a thread saying I hardly knew any of them. I didn't expect A listers but this is probably the first year that I only knew about ten percent of them

When the word celebrity was invented there were a few tv stations and films. To get on either and be well known you had to be talented and each had huge audiences.

Now of course it can mean Brad pit but it can also mean white dee

exactly, I don't know to what extent of 'celebrity' people are actually expecting to see on this show :laugh: and besides as we have seen, those most famous don't always make for the best housemates anyway.

IF they are celebrities, then 90% are Z list at best... I don't expect anything less of course, but please most people on my Twitter timeline had no idea who most of them were...

I only knew who Claire, Edele, Audley & George were... And had heard of about 3 or 4 of the others, the rest I can honestly say I have never even heard of...

So just because you know who they all are, don't assume everyone else does.
