Helen admitted to being violent in this interview 3 years ago, saying that when she met Jenny Thompson (the other prostitute in the threesome with Wayne Rooney) she went over and punched her as she thought Jenny had shoved her.
So Big Brother knew she was violent and aggressive before she went into the house and that means they thought that behaviour must have been acceptable.

I'm so disappointed with the ethics of the show now that I have decided not to watch Celebrity BB, despite watching every series so far.

Helen Wood winning is the beginning of the end of the show.

I'm wonder what justifications will be found to absolve St. Helen of any responsibility.
Jenny hit Helen's fist with her face maybe?

I don't see the point of bringing up something which happened in 2011 as a reason why someone shouldn't win

We judge them on their time in the house, not what they did in the past thank you very much.

Helen said this in an interview 3 days ago.

She said Jenny came over and pushed her over some disagreement so she punched her and the same night they become best friends lol.

I love how blunt she is.

These threads are trying to make it look like Helen has this secret past but she has admitted all of this so what?

Its over now, she won.

She has indeed and well done to her too.

I agree with all those who say her past is the past, it has nothing whatsoever to do with her being a housemate.

I love her bluntness and honesty too.

And she's the only housemate in the history of the show who's ever punched somebody?

I don't get the relevance?

An entrance requirement is to have never been in a fight?

BB rules are no fighting in the house. If rules stated nobody could enter who's ever been in one there'd be no way to check and the people eligible would be very small.

I'd be able to go in. :smug:

:fist: Do you want a fight about it?

Only if it's naked and involves mud.

Get over it- she won!!! We, the ordinary British Public voted her the winner. Why? Because she's fcuking normal. The problem with this show is that it's been taken over by the marginal, they use it as some sort of flag to be able to justify their existence

Jesus... where do YOU live that Helen is "normal"? :joker:. I mean even for those who like Helen... "normal" surely can't be the first descriptive term that springs to mind for her.

I lived in / around the Manchester / Lancs area for 3 years and I'll admit there are a lot of "Helens" around (same accent, rather aggressively call a spade a fooking spade) but "normal"...? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm not so sure.

Unless, of course, by "normal" you mean "common" :hehe:

That's the point though...you saw what nasty qualities she had unyet you supported her behaviour.
So Ashleigh was a bitch at times...but she never showed aggressive traits unlike Helen.
People that supported her behaviour should be ashamed that they supported someone who was so vitriolic, nasty and vile in her outbursts.
That's what will be the death of BB when people like Helen win.
Unfortunately like some I like people watching and support people with good morales although not necessarily saints. Supporting Helen was like supporting the peasants on the Jeremy Kyle show. It's shameful and embarrassing.
