He is incredibly funny without even realising it - I think he's great. But he is going to have to watch that temper - if we see more of those outbursts (like when he was in bed) he will lose popularity quickly.

I find him utterly unwatchable! It's cringe beyond belief
I feel like he shouldn't be in there
Have we taken to idolising and laughing at an obviously very ill man
It would be funny if he knew what he was doin and saying
But the fact he doesn't know what's happening most of the time and you all find it hysterical i just find tht wholly uncomfortable

So? You're acting as though he's in need of a straight jacket.
He's fine. Just because he comes across as a bit scattered physically and took time to settle in doesn't mean he can't handle it.
Once he was settled and chatting to the housemates he seemed completely calm and fine, just his hearing holding up some of the conversation.

He is perfectly in control of what he is doing. So he is a bit deaf and takes time to understand what people are saying. This is a reason to say he shouldn't be on the show? If there were any issues with his mental health, he wouldn't be on there.

Good for your mother. Is that the same for all 70 year olds? No.
Bloody Dot on EE is busy and fit as anything for her age in her 80s. Is that the same for all of them? No, quite a lot of people are dead by then.
How do you know his hearing and slower movement is down to brain injury?
My grandad now has two hearing aids and glasses at 75, he has no brain injury. It's the effect of ageing.
You're doing the same as the guy in the other thread about Leslie is, judging on the packaging and the labels as opposed to the person themselves.

No one laughs at Gary Busey for being confused, they laugh because he is a hilarious quirky guy and ALWAYS has been like that, he has a hearing problem fgs that doesn't make him confused and he isnt brain damaged to the extent some would have you believe..
He is also a fantastic award winning actor and is probably the only one in there that is a true celeb. I respect him for everything he's achieved throughout his 40+ year career. I am stunned that they actually managed to get him for our CBB.
You are determined to pigeonhole him into a predetermined hole you've made up in your head after one highlights show....

An you think he's all there?
And before you blame age for memory loss
You don't just draw a blank on two whole years of your life
He also obviously knows Spencer Pratt otherwise Steph wouldn't have brought it up
Gary didn't deny knowing him because he was was being 'badass' or 'owning' somebody with a put down.

After a minute at least

A person of sound mind would see someone they had A TWO YEAR RELATIONSHIP with and know them instantly
I can't be any clearer than that

Absolutely not the case. Do you know how many faces he has had put in front of him in his career? If you do not expect to see someone in a particular situation its very easy not to recognise them. Perfectly common behaviour.

Again, repeat themselves because he's hard of hearing in a house where 14 people are shouting over one another.
Sat at the table with Claire, sat in the garden with others he was much better.
A 70 year old man needing someone to speak a bit louder is not a "loose cannon".

a) He recognised Frenchy instantly. His first words to her were "I know you", smiled and gave her a hug.
Given her surgery it's a wonder he recognised her at all. Then she introduced herself and he knew who she was.
My grandmother calls me my cousin's name all the damn time and doesn't even notice her mistake at times.
b) Spencer Pratt. How do you know he knows him? He might be familiar with him and if he met him would remember him but someone saying "You know my brother" was a vague question on an overwhelming night.
Even the rest of the house found it overwhelming and took their time to calm down.

He's 70 years old for christ sake! It took him a few minutes to find his bearings in the house and then recognised a woman which took him SECONDS to place the face. I don't know whether he has a genuine memory disorder or not. But to be honest, if I have a memory disorder at his age, I'd hate the thought that people were uncomfortable to watch me go about my daily life just because I couldn't remember some stuff. Neural damage and disorders are a disability which are likely to affect many people, and I believe having exposure to it in this way is a good way to remove stigma attached to such disorders (that is if he does have a problem, I don't know either way).
Basically, we shouldn't be writing people off just because they have a disability, it's a bad attitude to have, and not one I'd like to be on the receiving end of.

No, it's being realistic.
You're being offensive by blaming every single aspect of him on his brain injury as opposed to plain old ageing.
Being in your 70s IS AN EXCUSE for bad hearing, aching joints, bad eyesight, moving a lot slower. Pretty common sense.
Saying he shouldn't be in the house because people are repeating themselves a little louder so he can hear is ridiculous.

MARSH 4 times I've given several points to prove what I'm saying
All you have done is say its normal for a person to forget someone they've had intimate times with!
Apparently it's now normal to 'take a few minutes to place the face of a woman whose gone down on him every night for two years'
It's well documented that his brain injury affects his daily life

I think you are looking for a problem in him, that's the issue. Try accepting him for who he is. For someone of my age, I have been familiar with him and his antics for years. I would be the first to be uncomfortable if I felt there really was an issue. So far, I'm not seeing any issue other than a bit of deafness and that is no reason to be uncomfortable at anyone.

I'm not denying anything. I'm saying it's not unusual for a man of his age to be a bit rusty in many areas.
You are claiming his brain injury is making him a loose cannon and crazy. Proof? You've simply latched onto "brain injury" and are now looking for faults, looking for signs and making yourself uncomfortable.
How do you know she was with him every night for 2 years? Met in 2008, I'd bet they were on and off. Looking at pictures she's had a lot of work since then and a lot has happened in his life since then. May it be his brain injury affecting his memory a bit? Possibly. Does that make him dangerous or unfit for CBB? No.
I bet his brain injury does affect his daily life, is that a reason for him to leave CBB? No. If he can handle it, he should be welcome and until a time comes that he can't handle it you shouldn't make assumptions off a 5 minute clip.
