Any opinions on this diet? Has anyone experienced it/know it's results? It's where you eat what you want for 5 days and then fast for 2 days, making up the 7 days of the week. You can choose which ever days to fast.

I think I started a thread on this it's sometimes called the 'fast diet' I bought the book, did it for a bit I really liked it and found it quite easy.
I think the benefits of calorie restriction 1 day a week to aid cell repair is a really good idea.

this diet is completely illogical because on your 'fasting' days you're sending your body into starvation mode meaning that the next time you eat, the food will be stored as fat.

Starvation mode is a myth. It does exist to an extent but not to the point where eating afterwards would make you gain weight.

This will lead to your weight yo-yoing like Sonia from Eastenders.
