I don't think it was her intention to make it sound that way though, I think the comment is being analysed too much. If you look for bad in someone, you will find it.

We all rush to judge people, we do it without realising every day. You could argue that she sees the good in people since her first observation of Gary was positive.

speak for yourself. i dont jump to conclusions within 24 hours of metting someone that theyre too old to change. thats incredibly ignorant

It's human nature and we can't control it. Within seconds we have thoughts of people, not definite and made-up, but we have preconceived ideas.

But he IS an old person. What is the problem with that? - its no worse than referring to someone as a young person.
