Apple istore help please...

Gav got an iphone today and is trying to set up his istore account, but it keeps asking for card details even when he tries to download free stuff. On the card details page it says they will NOT charge anything to his card, they just want the details but then when I put in the details it says declined so obviously they are trying to take money for something. Any idea how to sort this D: He only wants to download the free apps so I see no reason for them needing bank details to begin with tbh

Something like that happened to me before, it was something to do with the issue number or something? Because not all cards have that, I had to google a way to get around it, just type it into google and it should help.

Google keeps telling me to chose 'no payment' option..I dont have that. Google also says chose paypal option...thats not there either :facepalm:

OK nevermind, god knows whats gone no but creating a new account with a different email gave me the 'none' payment option :laugh:
