Leslie has to stop saying this about whichever housemate he has had an argument with at the time, I still like him but hold up Leslie, we decide (or should) who goes, not you.

I think his way of doing this may see his supporters dwindle more than they already have and turn the the public against him.

He's so true tho

As someone whose probably only seen BBUSA maybe he doesn't not know the rules inside out?

I completely agree with you Josy. I suppose though that it comes from his lack of knowledge about the structure of the show. On Big Brother USA, for example, you frequently see people saying "this person's got to go" so perhaps he's getting that from there? I totally agree that it comes across quite poorly on our version of Big Brother though

It makes me laugh when he says it.
It'll make me laugh if the people who he has said should go, stay in.
It'll make me laugh if he has ended up saying it about everyone in the house except himself.

Do I feel outrage that he is usurping the power of the voters? Not at all as that would be ridiculous - he's voicing his opinion in a certain way.

His tantrums and swearing have hardly made me think of him as smarmy.

We love an underdog here so I think it'll work in garys favour.

I guess if people are so intolerant of a "turn of phrase" that isn't quite the "British way" - (feeling a bit like James now) then it probably will effect how people perceive him more, but I think his other behaviour should really have more effect on making people feel negatively or otherwise.

No it's the way he is in general in there. Love how he called Gary a hasbin too, when Gary is still making movies and Leslie is a never was. :hehe:

I hope they take all the bleeps out of his tirade at Frenchy, it would be funnier if we could actually hear half of what he was saying.

All the underdogs. :hehe:

In the end nearly everyone's an underdog except the winner - so that really could shortcut the show?

Oops actually the winner is too sometimes - so yes no show!

No, everyone except the winner is not an underdog. Not everyone has "little chance of winning" from the start.

Not here for you dissecting a joke. :hmph:

Apologies - none of what I said was exactly of deadly seriousness either - but I don't use smileys enough.

Lack of sleep has clearly contributed to his behaviour. I don't think it is fair that people think it's okay for people to disrupt hms sleep and then complain at the consequences.

A man of Leslie's age needs his sleep. Lack of sleep makes people cranky. People can't have it both ways.

I do think that many people show such a lack of understanding of the importance of sleep for people of a certain age.

He's very argumentative. People say Gary causes arguments, but i disagree. Most of the tension is caused by Leslie. He has a very short fuse.

I completely agree that the housemates need sleep, all of them tbf and for some of them to make noise in the room is completely disrespectful.

I can't see why everyone was liking him so much on the first few nights. To me he comes across as a little pain in the arse. Give it time and all the show biz 'love you darling' will be taking a back seat and the real person will emerge.

Might be an American thing in general. They tend to say it on most US reality shows I've seen.

He over reacts to everything, I agree with the the OP's point that leslie's rants in the diary room will cost him support.

Very annoying is the description. He needs to tone it down himself a bit too.

i'm not sure if you're referring to Gary or Leslie, but the latter, yes. He snaps within a matter of seconds. He reminds me of one of those bossy director people.
