Vanessa my brother sadly died from a brain tumor many years ago and knowing that Gary had an accident which affected his brain i know first hand just how hard it is to get better from that and more importantly how it changes a person and makes them talk like they do. They become very blunt and to the point. That's down to the accident for Gary and it doesn't mean he is rude or nasty. It is slightly different in my brothers case yes but he did speak his mind more due to the tumor. It just means that people going through stuff like that simply just say it like it is.
