Its to do with channel contractual obligations I think. For instance if a well known singer appears on X factor I don't think they are asked to go on Strictly and visa versa. Different channels have their own rules. Gogglebox is channel 4 and BB is channel 5. Hopefully George wont need it when he comes out and makes a name for himself in some other field
