View Full Version : Alison is probably the most successful housemate after Jade
But she never gets recognition in threads when people discuss the most successful housemates:shrug:

I agree, I'd say either her or Brian Dowling, but Jade in my eyes will always be the most successful.

I think it's because she plays quite a small role on This Morning, but I do agree she has done well. Craig hasn't done bad either, he is on those make over shows quite a lot knocking some horrible furniture.
She's now on Strictly's new series as well
Alison has had the best long-term career
Nikki and Chanelle both had big success in the year or two following their series'

I remember Chanelle's perfume, it was in my local pound shop at one point :hehe:
Samanda did well too I think, they had Barbie Girl, perfume and I think a deal with Hello Kitty. They had a skin care range too.

Alison to me doesn't even feel like she was a BB housemate which is a good thing her personality overshadowed and stopped her being pigeon holed.

Quite a few of the early series (BB1-4) housemates got media careers / presenting jobs after the show.
No-one from BB5 onwards really got an actual presenting career from the show, it was more just celebrity gossip stuff.

Kate Lawler?
Alison mingles with the proper super Hollywood A list on the job though....Kate has a slot on Kerrang.

BB3 probably had the most successful housemates, which makes sense as it was the most watched series.
Kate and Adele both host radio shows now, Jade did everything you could imagine after the show and Alison is appearing on all sorts of gameshows due to her being recognised from interviewing stars on This Morning.

Alison, then Brian and Kate
I would have never guessed Alison Hammond was a Big Brother housemate. Honestly, I wouldn't have been able to tell.
She was evicted second in BB3.

Really like her, had no idea she was even on BB until a few weeks ago actually. First time I watched her on TV was on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
Jade will always be more famous because of her struggle with Cancer.
I would say Brian is the next famous then Alison.
Can't find the table gif from BB3. I am gutted

She should have never been evicted over Sandy wtf. But being evicted twice did wonders for her

Not your fame obsession dating back to 2014.
Id say Adele Roberts. Idk if her Radio 1 job was anything to do with BB though

Probably because she's the most high profile housemate who has also managed to lose the association. Not many people would describe her as a former housemate.

BB3 was the most-watched series, so that has a lot to do with so many of the housemates getting media careers later.
Reality shows were still quite a recent development then, also, so there wasn't hundreds of ex-contestants competing for opportunities.

Alison is a real natural interviewing the famous...I love her. She isn’t full of herself and she throws herself into everything oblivious of her weight.

Leave him alone bitch!
I hear Adeles early morning show on radio 1 every morning on the way to work at like 5:30
Craig Phillips, Nick Bateman and John Tickle all did well after BB.
Bubble will always be in the Christmas Special of Ricky Gervais's The Office, which will be seen by generations to come.
