You should!!its gud but a lot of the old TOB fans dont like it as they think Preston has changed since becoming famous and rubbish like that!

What's desperate about it? Seems like a sweet love song to me.

I don't like 'Great Big Rip Off' and 'Best Job Ever'

I Luv U is desperate because it is so cliched and the lyrics are quite clunky. A love song should have genuine emotion and feeling, but Preston's voice is emotionless on all he sings.

Its supposed to be full of cliches!Thats Preston's whole point. The song really is how hard it is to write a love song and he added a nice chorus.It ain't desperate.It just Preston being Preston!

I heard that comment from Preston too.

Dont get me wrong, TOB first album was full of spikey tunes, but I Luv U typifies the way that the band have alienated their original fanbase.

They havn't alienated them! The OA just complain too much... But yeah its quite a similar sound. Preston and co said BB(Brassbound btw not BB) was depressing and they did it all for the fans but it wasn't a great record. Like they dedicated pretty much all of BB to the OA. They shoukd be allowed to what they like now. I think every album is a reflection on the time and feeling of the band and the time and feeling of TOB is a very good one therefore they reflcted that in the album. 'I Luv U' was one song outta of the new album for the more Prestelle fans but yet the OA do actually seem to like it. I don't see it as desperate at all. TOB ain't desperate they just wanna make music.

Ive no doubt they would have been dropped a long time ago.
