I doubt anyone would assume he was safe. I just think he was cheered because there isn't much reason to dislike him. James, Gary and Kellie all split opinion so are bound to get some boos and some cheers. David (and Claire) however haven't done all that much so they're probably just cheered for cheering's sake. I dunno if anyone would boo them for being boring?

David McIntosh has become the first evicteé of Celebrity Big Brother 14 after receiving the least amount of votes on tonight´s eviction.

He was up for eviction against Gary Busey, James Jordan, Claire King and Kellie Maloney.

David was tipped to evicted by all polls and the bookies, so his eviction.....

It didn't surprise me he went out, he has done little in the house really other than a bit of exercising.
The others have a fan base of sorts, Claire,the Emmerdale fans, Kellie, the boxing fans, James unfortunately has the Strictly Come Dancing fans.

I couldn't really see where in vote to save and doing so little as David has how he had much chance to survive tonight really.

I actually haven't been that impressed with him, even in his interviews after coming out the house too.
