I feel sorry for the HMs because I think Gary has a way of controlling his feelings, he knows that self pity is a waste of energy. The others on the other hand use their energy in such a way that it brings them distress. Riccis and Stephanies were very revealing re their own nature.

It is mainly defined as a person belittling abusing or physically hitting a smaller or less confident person who cannot defend themselves. Stephanie is a complete and utter bitch and what she said was totally wrong but she is not a bully and it didn't in the least offend Gary he just took it on the chin and showed her up as the bitch that she is

He is just being himself and no one likes to think that another can accept their words without shouting and bawling. Gary discusses, as some of the others did, but he smiles as well and then he thanks them for their criticisms. Just watching him now in one of his films.....He shows them up by accepting and that they dont like.

She doesn't seem to know what to do on the show. From a career standpoint, it would be better for her to be relevant for one day than play a subordinate role for three weeks. She's only behaving this way toward Gary because he's been rejected by the other HMs, and joining in ostracizing an outsider is one way to try to fit in with a group. It's an ugly behaviour born of fear.

She is trying to develop a b1tch character for herself, but you can't be a timid villain. It just doesn't work. It's actually surprising how incompetent "reality" performers are when no one offers them any direction and they have to shape scenes and storylines entirely on their own.
