It's now common knowledge that Rylan was meant to have entered Big Brother 8 in 2007 as a housemate but didn't because 'the day I was meant to go in, it got leaked to the press. It was devastating.'

Who do you think took his place? I think he was meant to be one of the halfways, so which guy do you think replaced him in the halfway house and where do you think he would have finished?

I think David replaced him, and Rylan would have been evicted in the double eviction with Shanessa.

I think six housemates were supposed to go into the halfway house, they didn't bother replacing him.

I think you're right, his personality initially grated on everybody in TXF so the public would have probably not given him a chance.

I think it all worked out for the best for him. if he had got into bb8 he wold be irrelevant now rather than being the host for a spin off of the show hes loved for years.

Oh right! It's a shame he got the boot but obviously like you say it worked out good for him what with X-Factor, This Morning and BOTS.

He's always going to be in the press now no matter what he does.

I think he would have been great in BB8!

In CBB I guess he was more annoying (because I've heard that he constantly looked in the cameras and was overwhelmed by it all the time) because he'd been robbed of his chance and couldn't believe he was finally getting to experience it.

Rylan not making BB8 (and instead making CBB years later) was probably the best thing that ever happened to him. I doubt he'd be presenting BOTS right now.
