I don't get why they felt to drop it one year? A lot of the younger people who audition get told to come back when they've matured anyway.
I also don't think it's right to force kids into the spotlight when they're doing their GCSEs tbh. They can just wait.

This will make the themed weeks even more daft.
If one or even more get through to the 'live' finals all we are going to hear if they have a bad week or get in a muddle is how young they are.
It is all we got last year with one who was 'only sixteen',namely Nicholas.
If no one who is 14 or 15 gets through to the 'live' finals then it was even more daft to introduce the younger age in the first place.
Should have just left it as it was in my view..

It should be 18+ really anybody younger dont really sell and arnt mature and relatable enough... they tend to further in talent comps simply because of their age.

No, they should raise it to at least 18. Not here for little kids whose voices haven't even broken dominating the live shows

Exactly! Their voices could break and their new voice may have no talent whatsoever because they don't know how to use it.
I also don't like having kids on the show because they always get the sympathy vote.
Yes, not here for the live shows being a remake of The Little Rascals

I'm pretty sure 'most' of their voices would have broken around 13/14... my voice broke when I was 11 finishing year 6...

18-21+ please.
The kids should be swayed more towards BGT, they have no place on XF.
Yeah. The young ones never seem to be ready for this show

That's not the point they're doing GCSE's etc and should be concentrating on that my cousin who's fourteen wanted to audition but her parents said no because it would be a distraction and told her to wait till she was at least 16 and I don't blame them

18+ should be the limit personally, i'm not here for kids getting through to the live shows with a below average voice, based on their supposed hard life because their friend wouldn't let them use their phone </3
