Probably because of her heart condition.
Kellie suffered a heart attack after finding the dead body of one of her boxers that had commited suicide 5 years ago.
But dont let that get in the way of trying to slag a housemate off in any cheap and derogatory way possible will you.

So it seems ok to ice bucket a 70 yr old with a brain condition and not a scam artist that is perfectly healthy. BTW Frank Maloney had a suspected heart attack, big difference. Frank has made sure that everything about him has been elaborated in order to get the sympathy votes.

The ignorance in this thread is disgusting.

And Chuff a shock of any kind can in fact cause a heart attack.

'The promoter Frank Maloney was being treated for a suspected heart attack today 24 hours after finding the 27-year-old Olympic bronze medallist Darren Sutherland hanged in his Bromley flat.

The 55-year-old Maloney, who was Sutherland's manager, was taken to Bromley's Princess Royal University Hospital where tests revealed that he had recently suffered a heart attack. Doctors decided to keep him under observation, although he was well enough to sit up and work on his laptop, his spokesman said.'

Seems like she'd had one and not noticed :/

So a VERY mild one ? hardly enough to stop them doing the challenge

It is possible to have minor heart attacks and not know about it. One of my parents friends recently passed away after massive heart attack and when they did the PM they discovered he had aged scarring on his heart and had probably had one or more mild heart attacks in the months or years leading up to the big one (he had never seen his doctor or complained of any pains in his chest that his wife was aware of). Each one would have weakened his heart more and so its possible that Kellie could have had one and it only showed up after the episode with finding the boxer. Obviously after any health scare its only natural to be more cautious with things I guess.

And you know this how? From the description in that text? You know his exact current medical state. You know that the original was mild?

Its one thing not to like a housemate, but all this attacking of them at a very personal level is well out of order

According to this Maloney didn't even know about it, so hardly major fgs,

I think this concludes the conversation on whether Kellie should be exempt.

Gary should be exempt too, a 70yo shouldn't be put through this kind of nonsense.

They shouldn't tell the HMs who is exempt though. There is no need and it will make those who are chosen feel worse.

Yup, my dad had a heart attack and didnt know, he wasnt even going to get seen until my mum forced him to..and even then he drove himself to the docs :o

I dont even think his was a mild one either as he needed a balloon thing put in his artery

I would imagine it was probably the CBB medical staff that decided that he shouldn't do it Chuff, they're not going to take any risks with someone with a heart condition mild or not .....

Its actually very common to not know you have had a heart attack. However, even a mild attack can do serious damage to your heart and make you very vulnerable to another.
