Irritates me to no end the nonsense people go on about English players not being good enough. You've got counties with lower league players in their squad playing good football, yet Roy with regulars in the top four in supposedly the best league in the world never look anything above mediocre. Hopefully we lose tonight, Roy gets the sack and somebody actually decent steers us to attractive, or at least convincing, performances.

I think the main issue is we've had defensive minded managers for so long, it clearly isn't the style that fits the players or what the fans want to see for the next X amount of years.

Had many reasons to hate Roy for his time at Liverpool alone...

The England squad is no where near good enough regardless of Manager. Compare it to Germany,Spain or even France in Europe. The difference is scary. What England should do is build around an attack of Sterling,Sturridge,Welbeck/Walcott and just utilise the pace that there is in the squad.

No where near good enough to be winning competitions, yes, but easily good enough to be playing good positive football and able to convincingly beat teams like Norway. I'm not saying we have potential to be world champions, but we certainly have the players to dominate a lot of the teams we play with a goal margin to show for it.

If it was March and you were deep into three competitions then yes they should be rested but not at this stage of the season.

Locke.
09-10-2014, 07:58 PM
Sterling in particular is the one that needs resting. He's 19 and has looked really tired in our last couple of games. With Hendo it's more about him not getting injured than needing a rest.

Plus it's San Marino.. hardly need to play the entire first team to get a result. Or maybe we do based on tonight.

On the plus side for you, two games and no goals allowed.

Starting to believe that we night beat Romania on Tuesday. They are missing Ciprian Marica and Doran Goian which apparently are their key players and also some of their other important players have some sort of uncertainty in terms of playing.

Also they only managed a tie against Hungary in their home match on Saturday, so it shows they are not in the best shape possible.

I personally think that Greece as a former European Champion and multiple championship qualifier is much tougher than Romania and we managed to play almost as equals with them on Saturday.

If there is a chance to get a big win, now would be the time to do so.

Oh, yeah, nothing. No response, so has to change the subject.

It was a hot summer day and I was in my workout room benching 1200 pounds. My abs were flexing and girls within a 10 mile radius were getting wet. Once I was done with my daily 32 hour workout I called one of the bitches I know, Jessica. She is really damn hot and looks like a supermodel. SO I got into my Lamborghini Gallardo and reved it up to 40,000 RPM (this is an Italian import with special engine system). I got onto the freeway near my house and threw it into 8th gear, I hit about 600 mph and I could hear the sonic boom as I broke the sound barrier. As I was flooring it on the freeway like a badass, Jessica called me and said she wanted me to **** her. So be it.
I came to a full stop from 700 mph in front of her house. These Ferraris have top notch brakes, you know. So she gets out of the house and walks up to my Bugatti and starts eyeballing my dick. I could tell she was staring at it because when I looked at her I noticed she was looking at my dick. Booya.

Flash forward 10 minutes later. My 30 inch dick is going inside of her VAGINA, hitting them walls. I'm holding her entire body up with my left pinky as I'm ****ing her and she has 30,000 orgasms. She looks me in the eyes and she says "harder." V-TEC just kicked in, yo. I blow my load so hard she falls off my dick. There had to have been about two pints of cum everywhere. People say I cum like a pornstar, I wouldn't disagree with them.

I throw her a towel so she can clean herself up then I do a triple backflip into my Maserati and drive home

Wow. What in the world has happened to Greece? How can they lose to Faroe Islands of all teams. And on home turf? Good god!

And to think that they were supposed to be the clear front runners and sure qualifiers in this group.

Good news for Finland and other teams on the group though.

Calderyon
15-11-2014, 02:05 PM
^ The damage has been done in these qualifications though. There is no way Greece will rise to battle for a place to France, the gap is too big now. Romania and NIR are way gone and can already safely prepare for European Championships in France 2016.

------------
Finland lost 0-1 to Hungary away. So that probably means we are out as well. We would have to basically get points from every game from this point forward and win most of them to have a chance and i do not think we can.

Such a shame, a golden opportunity to finally qualify and yet again we whimper out. Same old, same old with no change in sight. Pathetic.

To Locke: At this point they would have to win every single game, without point losses, and i do not think they can or will do it.

Theyīll probably get 2-3 wins against Faroes, Hungary and Finland and a tie with NIR, but will lose against Romania. Total of 8 to 11 points max. Not going to be enough. At least for 1st or 2nd place.

oh I had no idea that there's gonna be 24 teams in Euro 16 :/

I was kinda looking forward to the possibility of some huge names missing and it being a more open tournament... as things stand the Netherlands, Greece (bottom of their group, below the ****ing Faroe Islands :joker:), Russia, Switzerland, Belgium and Ukraine are all out. I'm sure at least 3 of them will scrape through (at the expense of Israel, Slovenia and Sweden I'm sure), and then there're the playoffs for all the other 3rd-placers...

Wales and Scotland are currently in :omgno:

I'm really enjoying the unpredictability of it all, though... Austria, Romania, Wales and the Czech Republic topping groups? Is it the 50s again?
