View Full Version : "I never came here to babysit"
What a completely rude and disrespectful thing to say to ANYONE.
I have NEVER seen George help Gary with anything in that house, Audley and James yes but never George.
He clearly just wants BB to be an extension of his real life, get pissed, act like an annoying twat, yell some obscenities at females then fall into bed drunk and sleep most of the next day rough.
He's a grubby, sweaty looking annoying little guy IMO.
Anyway...what is your opinion on Georges nomination reason?

That was actually well out of order, to say that he 'wasn't prepared' to help Gary, was ridiculously rude, there was no need to say that.. That was the final nail in the coffin for me and has proved that he is by far the worst person in there when it comes to tolerance towards Gary, annoying little prick tbh.

George is starting to really disappoint. I could imagine his parents would be saddened over on Gogglebox... his dad who is always falling asleep is probably much like Gary in terms of mishearing.

I literally shouted at my TV "WELL DON'T ****ING BABYSIT HIM THEN!"
It's so annoying when simpletons like him use others to attack their own faults. Nobody is telling or asking him to babysit Gary, such a cop-out reason to nominate him.

So disappointed with his attitude towards older/disabled/both people, comparing Gary to a child who needs babysitting :nono: James has also referred to him as a child before now too. How can they not recognise how much they can learn from Gary, and how much he has to offer? It's really sad to see how some automatically write off older/disabled people as similar to children who need looking after and have little to offer. George is extremely ignorant.

He's a disgusting little nobody. And to add insult to injury, when Gary was telling him about the stages of life on a clip shown on BOTS he took himself off as quickly as he could practically before Gary had finished speaking. He had no interest whatsoever.

Audley's feedback to him was great, and hit the nail on the head on what a lot of posters have been suspicious of (don't want to spoil it if people haven't watched the video )
But anyway, he has some demons I think, and is very unpleasant

I'd prefer that people gave honest reasons in their nominations rather than lied to cover up the real reason out of "respect".

They are awful in their treatment of Gary. My Dad is three years older than him and deaf. If anyone treated him like they have Gary, there would be murder in that house. A disgrace. I hope they are suitably ashamed when they are out and shown the footage xx
I'd be mortified if my parents ever decided to go in the house, and I'd warn them beforehand that they should be prepared to be treated badly by others (if they didn't already know that).

Oh me too. My Dad never would, he laughs at me for watching BB so he would never want to be a HM I was just using him as an example as he is similar in age to Gary who also happens to be deaf

My ma is deafish too - I know she goes through difficulties due to people's impatience and lack of understanding in daily life due to it, but I seriously do not expect people in the house to behave that differently to how the average person does.
If this enlightens any of the general public then the housemates would have done a good service here.

I really liked him at first & thought he had a good chance to win.
Now I think he is a total twat.
He is so disrespectful. Especially to Gary & was also unkind to Frenchy.
Yet his behaviour in the house is seen as funny.
All he does is drink & make fun of others.
I really hope he goes soon.

I liked him to begin with but after numerous not so nice comments he has gone down in my estimation.
What he said about Gary is just appalling and shows him up for the ignorant intolerant idiot he is.
Nobody in the house has to babysit or be a carer for Gary, they use that excuse to try & belittle him.
Its sad but I believe he has been influenced by Daddy James who was the first to say baby sitter to Gary.I cannot recall if George was present but almost certainly James would have told him.
James is dragging George down to his sad level and more fool him for going with it.As I recall he started the show as fav but I really cannot see him winning now.

The witty, fun BB of old would have reacted to George's words by introducing a babysitting task. Where Housemates would have to babysit a crying doll 24 hours a day for 3 days in shifts to win their shopping.
But now they are too busy guiding storylines to bother.

James elected to patronise Gary and 'care' for him. Thank God that he - nor any of the other cretins who formed an allegiance with James - are real carers working in aged people's homes in the real world or there would be a steep increase in abused inmates cases. As for stinking the house out - it's Dee who chain smokes and comes from a hovel.

If they truly classify their despicable treatment of Gary as 'caring' for him, then I sincerely hope they steer clear of caring for any 'old aunt Mauds' or 'great uncle Berties' they may have in their own families, let alone go near a Care Home.

Just because they happen to dislike one old person, doesn't mean that they're abusive to the elderly..

No, you may be right, because only birth and death are certainties, but given how they have constantly bullied and abused Gary, the balance of probabilities is that if they were real carers, and given the right circumstances, they would repeat that abuse. Anyway, I would not want these people anywhere near any of my elderly infirm relatives. In fact, I don't ever want to see them on my TV again or even read about them in the newspapers - they do not deserve celebrity.

It's totally fair, that's the aura they give off, that they couldn't care less about the elderly/disabled etc as they are too preoccupied with themselves, unlike Audley who has said Gary does some things his dad does,so would not dislike him for that ,we all get old if we are lucky, and hopefully when James,George and Dee get to 70,they will encounter the same thoughtless ,selfish, gits as they are now,
