View Full Version : If Steph 'loves' George so much then why does she only see him as a friend?

I cannot understand her.

Me personally I think it was all a showmance, but out of the house Steph maintained on BBBOTS that she adores and loves George 'such much'.

Yes she only sees him as a friend. If I loved a woman THAT MUCH, how could I see her as a friend. I'd obviously want a relationship. Makes sense. They're man and woman for God's sake.

So, my question is why does she only see him as a friend, despite crying when she so his picture on BBBOTS, saying 'I miss him so much'.

It is possibly to love someone as a friend and not having romantic feelings for them.. it's incredibly common and i dont see how it was a 'showmance' considering that from the start she said she didn't see him like that and that it was just a friendship.

I am not a fan of either but in this instance fair dues to both as I think Steph made it clear early on that the friendship and love would be platonic and George understood this.So it became a showmance in a genuine way.

I liked watching the childish interactions between them but in comparison found the ricci/lauren thing boring.

this completely. I enjoyed watching their friendship because it was never tried to be turned into a showmance from stephanie's point of view.

She is shallow, the bottom line is he isn't good looking enough for her.

Bottom line is, she was using Cabbage face to stay in there and to while away the boredom.

It was never going to be anything else but a shallow showmance and a mutually convenient alliance.

What was interesting to me was that during the the Emma interview, she was cold, calculating and frank about her feelings toward George. An hour later after she had received some feedback, on BOTS she started crying at the first mention of his name. That says it all to me

He was a easy target to hang on to.

I 'love' a whole bunch of my friends. Why can't people of opposite sexes have a platonic relationship in BB?

Because she doesn't give two ****s about the lump, he's just a tool to increase her popularity, just a shame for her that it didn't overcome her rotten personality and she still got the boot.
