I've had a headache for 3 days. I nearly fainted earlier. I feel like I'm dying.

I just wanna feel better

I think I've got a tension headache.

..you're prone to headaches aren't you Caitlin..?..the seasons are about to change and that can be a cause because you might be very attuned to atmospheric and pressure changes...I think as well when you have a headache for a long time and you take pain-killers etc, you almost become addicted and in a viscous circle of the medication actually causing or attributing to the headache...what about a facial/head massage which can be very soothing..maybe someone in your family could give you one....

Is your temperature up a bit maybe, have you taken any painkillers?
1 paracetamol and 1 ibuprofen work well together.
I wouldn't go to hospital, go to docs on monday if you still feel rubbish.

Starting to get scared now

My grandma was stressed and that's when her headaches would get bad. It was too late. By the time she found out she had a brain aneurysm and has pretty much been left brain dead.

I'm just thinking about what will happen if I have one. So worried. It's hereditary as well.

I am sure you will be fine but the anxiety you are feeling is not helping so off to the docs you go.

Is there something going on that's playing on your mind? Maybe subconsciously?

Just sit down and relax, think about something lovely and go into that feeling. As you do the tension will go, think about love and understanding, just something that you really love. There are silly little bugs about at the moment so dont worry yourself into something which isnt there. If you are still worried tomorrow just go to the Drs and get him/her to put your mind at rest. xx

..are they a migraine medication/Imigraine type thing..?...

yeah... it totally helped. I tried codeine and everything before that and it didnt make a difference. I got ready to go to the pharmacy with my mum but got too dizzy so she had to go on her own and they just gave her nurofen migraine stuff. I didnt think it would work, but it did! and i feel so amazing right now. first time in days i've managed to walk up and down the stairs without nearly passing out

..yeah it is really effective and quite quick, I take it as well but it sounds as though you're a migraine sufferer Caitlin and different things trigger them with different people and that's something that's easy to figure out yourself over time and by noting when you have one...I would still think about going to the GP tomorrow because you can also get preventatives which reduce the amount you have in the first place...maybe go chat to him/her..?..
