I loved it! Think the novelty will wear off for me to keep up with in the long haul but they are airing on Tuesday and Fridays which are good enough days for me.

Most of them have strong personalities which is good. I adore Bella so far and Amanda is lovely. I warmed to Josh by the end as well but he'll likely make me hate him again before the end of episode 2. Red is a mess.

Actually I liked Dave and Red standing up for getting food that they wanted, rather than wasting it on things like an expensive toilet. Dave was called 'Convict Dave' from episode 1 so it was obvious he wasn't intended to last long, considering all the other tantrums it felt like he was probably a scapegoat for some others. Unless Red finds another ally it could get a bit boring with the lawyer guy and a few others controlling everything. Very preachy as you'd expect from a US show.

I'm sure you'll find some Americans taking this show very seriously. So all the preachiness about the pastor, the lawyer guy running the place (well it is America lol) and the marketing person making it all about some economic system they have to buy into. What was weird to me as well was them getting advice about the chickens from someone on the outside. This is far from a separated society and it will be nowhere near as tough as it could have been.

And of course there's spoilers before very advert break even so zero surprise. I think the American TV audience hates surprises.

Red and Bella are the only reasons to watch at this point. Others just seem to be there because they are photogenic or for some predesigned role.

Apparently the way it's going to be done is America will nominate someone, and then the Utoians will nominate someone. Then 2 NuTopians will enter and they will decide who should stay (like they did with Kristen/Rhonda) and then the one that gets to stay is the one who gets to choose which original Utopian gets booted off.

One by one, the Utopians walked up to a homemade voting board and spoke their mind. Considering the fifteen Utopians have yelled at each other about water filters, pickled radishes, art supplies and spilled peanut butter, the voting process was quite peaceful.

BELLA earned five votes. (Taylor, Chris, Bri, Aaron, Kristen)

RED earned four votes. (Hex, Mike, Rob, Dedeker)

BRI earned four votes. (Amanda, Ernesto, Bella, Josh)

AARON earned two votes. (Red and Nikki)

With a tie in second place, Rob addressed the group to explain the next steps. Red and Bri were asked to step outside while the rest of the Utopians would re-vote for the two of them to decide second place. And then, the ONLINE OUTCAST would be revealed.

But before that could happen, Red stood up, gave an impromptu speech about socialism (!), told the Utopians he would take the second spot on the replacement shortlist to avoid a tie-breaker and stormed off. Typical Red.

With Red taking Bri's spot, she thought she could sit pretty. But later, Rob revealed the ONLINE OUTCAST vote, and it turns out our #Viewtopians have had enough of her.

So the three Utopians who are up for replacement are: BELLA, RED and BRI.

Soon, the Utopians will vote again to decide which of these three will be asked to leave Utopia forever.

this show is disappointing. i havent like anyone tbh but Red at least entertained me. i read it was all fake with the vote anyways and that Red called his wife from the hospital to pick him up after the "vote" and they just did that for the episode. he was leaving anyways on his own accord. Rob is a d-bag. if it was real he just wanted Red out cause he didnt like him. on the feeds we see his dickhead side but the show shows him mostly being the good guy. no point in having a viewer vote if they get the final say. at least Josh stuck to his guns before the "vote" had to be just for show.

it has been a very interesting concept but there is nothing really to keep the viewers wanting to watch, if they had tasks given to them it might make it more interesting for the average viewer as they seem to be doing the same stuff every episode.

some of our utopians (what we call contestants) still are bit ''famous'' like on social media's, and now recently they got a reality talk show called Quality Time on Sunday here in Netherlands

or at least few of the more popular ones by public


and others ventured into other reality show called Lange Leve de Liefde which is more a reality dating soap currently as replacement for utopia
