Don't really like any of the housemates so far. Lisa, Skye and Priya I already hate. Thought the 'twists' were dumb as well. And god I hate the host. She's so boring. Also don't like this 'pair' thing. If there are 8 pairs altogether and they're nominating/being nominated as 1 that's not going to make for any interesting results and they'll probably all be up every week.

Based on first impressions I'd say I like David & Sandra the most and Lisa & Skye the least. And a first impression ranking:

Thoughts so far:

Priya: Pretty interesting character so far. Will be interesting to see how far she can push the dominant character role that she looks like shes vying for.

Katie: Doesn't seem much like her entrance video. She seemed easily controlled by Priya.

Jake: Hipster looking guy. Not usually my cup of tea, but will wait and see.

Gemma: I don't mind an amazonian woman, but she seems like a massive bitch.

David: Another hipster. Looks awestruck the whole time.

Sandra: Quite nice so far.

Dion: He looks like he would be a douche, but so far hes been pretty genuine.

Jason: Pretty cool so far.

Skye: I thought I would give it a few days before I passed judgement and it's looking like I made the right call, she's been nothing but pleasant so far. Looks wise: wow, stunning. She's from my home town, typical Gold Coast girl.

Lisa: Not too sure yet, can't get a read on her.

Travis: Seems like a good dude so far.

Ryan: Looks like hes easy to get along with, has potential to be funny.

Cat: Not much too her so far.

Aisha: Not my cup of tea.

Lawson: The Larry David of the series. I couldn't believe my ears when Sonia asked him if he had any magic tricks and he said "I can put a baby in your belly"! I know thats probably not what he meant, hence the Larry David tag, but it sounded so bad. I was laughing like crazy.

As for the production, I hate it. Ever since it moved to Channel 9. I hate when they cut back to check out Sonias reaction to something. Who gives a ****? Also I hate hate hate the laugh track and the stupid crowds that frequent these things.

Skye is annoying me all ready but at the same time she is quite amusing. I feel like they will overload her too much and she will just get plain annoying. Priya and Lisa have potentials to be big characters. I feel bad for Gemma, I dont think she was malicious with her comments to Skye, and Katie seems completely different from her intro, I thought she would be quite bitchy but she seems nice but a pushover.

I Loooove the Big Brother's character in this series. His voice is so sexy, and he is quite cheeky. I wish other BB's would take a page out of BBAUS handbook and make Big Brother a personality we tune in for. That way when the Housemates become boring and predictable, we can always count on BB to spice it up.

It's better to watch on youtube by searching for Big Brother Australia 2014 instead of live streaming (too many add breaks) but you can get live streaming on couchpotatoes.

They do staged tasks which masquerade as supposedly natural conversation in the UK one as well now, easy cheap way to fill a HLs without putting in much effort. Most of them looked bored having to do it.

For me this episode started when the whole money twist finally resumed, it was left as the cliffhanger the previous episode so they had some nerve making us wait so long in the very jumbled up editing. The diner will likely enable the power HMs to earn a bit of goodwill from the other HMs at the end of the week unless there is some other twist which makes that more difficult.

And I agree with what was said earlier, the laugh track is pathetic and Sonia is annoying.

On the plus side the HMs are probably a reasonable mix of interesting and likeable as usual, though it's too early to tell how it will turn out

I adore Skye. Katie seems so sweet. Lawson (who is an actor, not a magician!) is super-irritating. Ryan not liking magic because it's "geeky" -- ugh. No wonder he and last year's Matt are friends.

Gemma and Jake got the fewest votes to save and the house choose who, out of of Gemma or Jake, who to save.

The whole house chose to save Jake except for Priya, who chose to save Gemma. So Gem,a was evicted by a vote of 8-1.

When they first showed Ryan today, I was legitimately confused for a moment until I remembered who he is. Even Aisha and Jason (who I think are pretty popular) were invisible today. If they had feeds, it wouldn't be quite as annoying that the show is unbalanced because at least there would be a way of knowing what's really going on with everyone.

Jake was evicted on Monday. Skye topped the vote on Monday when she was saved. On Tuesday David topped the vote and was saved first, then Travis and then Aisha leaving Cat and Lisa as the final two. Lisa was evicted on Tuesday.

Jake got 7 % on Monday and Lisa 12 % on Tuesday.

Skye´s percent on Monday was 27 %.

Lawson, Travis, Jason, Priya, Sandra and Sam were nominated for eviction. David, Ryan and Aisha received no points. Leo was immune cause he hasn´t stayed a full week in the house.

Tomorrow Cat´s and Lawson´s apparent shenanigans in the sanctuary bathtub are revealed.

I expect either Lawson or Sandra to go next Thursday. I think Jason will easily top the vote on Monday and thus be saved, Priya will probably top it on Tuesday, Travis and Sam will battle for second/third place, leaving either Lawson or Sandra to be evicted. Anyway i think a showmance will be broken up.

Due to work I've been playing catch up these past two weeks watching all the episodes in three day's :shocked:
This year is a real let down. The only HM's I like are Priya & David.
I thought I would really love Sandra but she kinda dumped David when she realised how unpopular he was :nono:
Skye is too much hard work, she is like a child who has had too much sugar.
Also, this year I have found the noms really boring. I liked the chamber much more.
I miss last years HM's :bawling:

Friday shows have now been axed due to poor rating. (last Friday only getting 400k viewers)

I don't see big brother making it next year with such poor rating . R.I.P, the messed around with the format to much and don't post live updates no wonder no one wants to watch it.

I have no idea what they are doing. The Australian version has been an absolute joke for the past few years, but it's someone got even worse this year.

It's on a different/random time nearly every night, they are reducing the number of nights that they show it, and apparently having an eviction (or double) every other day.

The house guests this year are defiantly week in character, but what I find to be just horrible is the editing. There are only about 4 shows a week now, and 3 of them are live. Way to much recapping, Sonia saying random crap, and the house guests performing false antics. It is impossible to get a handle on anyone's true character since they are only shown faking it in a task or forced dinner conversations. No wonder Sandra wanted out.

It's become farcical. They may as well throw in another 30, so they can have a double eviction every night.

The intruders were yesterday lobbed into the sanctuary room to get to know each other over a few drinks.

The noise of their increasingly rowdy socialising carried over the wall into the main house, raising the suspicions of the other housemates. Eventually, the group of four were invited in to meet everyone.
