It’s a dramatic Celebrity Big Brother 2014 tonight as Big Brother is forced to step in to stop a row involving Gary Busey and Dee Kelly.
It begins as some of the housemates are making food in the kitchen. Gary approaches Dee and says he’s got good news – he’s not bitter.
Dee tells Gary she never said that he was bitter and that it was James, but gets confused and corrects herself that actually Gary said it in the first place.
Gary assures her he didn’t and he heard her say it and they start arguing. Dee starts to relay what Gary whispered to her earlier about James and Gary denies talking about him.
Dee says “Gary, just leave it because I’m done now”
Gary then goes to speak to James and says “To my heart and the truth of my brotherhood with you, I said nothing about you not having a heart or a soul or a mind”.
Dee protests but Gary puts his hand to his mouth to silence her. Dee becomes irate and screams, “You’re the most ill mannered person I’ve met in my life, you’re sneaky and bitter and I hope to God James sees half of the stuff…Please do me a massive favour, stay away from me.”
Gary tells Dee to “shut up” which causes more outrage as Dee says, “Don’t tell me to shut up you ignorant man. Learn some manners…Who do you think you are? You’re no better than anyone else in this House!”
Gary then says to Dee, “Get out my way!” which infuriates her further.
Dee is then called to the Diary Room while James talks to Gary and says, “Eventually the British public will see the way you are. We can’t all be wrong…”
In the Diary Room, Dee is told to calm down as she reels: “I’m not here for this s**t, I want to go home” she then asks to speak to her father before becoming emotional and crying.
Meanwhile, Ricci talks to Gary about his behaviour and says that people have been trying to help him in the House.

It is hard to see what exactly happened there, I get the impression that Dee and James were chatting about Gary and he interacted but I may be wrong. She will be relieved to know that she doesnt have to see him again and hopefully I wont have to see her again. Heaven help the OAPs if ever she becomes a carer...
I do not think anyone has attempted to challenge her before.
She did call him a bitter old man when she walked away from him in the garden the other night.
He has every right to challenge this as bitter is the last thing the man is.

I am really going off Dee. She seems to be slipping back into the benefits guru that we saw on tv and is treating these HM's with contempt as if she was actually someone they should look up to. On benefits street, she was the top of the pile but in there she is a nobody but she thinks she is. Its now beginning to grate on my nerves that she has the audacity to treat people like idiots because the chose to challenge her. How dare they. OMG what an egomaniac.
I would think Gary nominated her, or is being blamed for nominating her and this is the reaction

Why doesn't Dee just shut up and keep her awful thoughts to herself. She should stick to manipulating cringeworthy hugs from Ricci, that is the only time she is really happy.
Hopefully she gets an early ticket out on Wednesday night.

Yeah she did call him bitter but not in his presence as I remember so I don't know if he was referring to that. She called him that when he was challenging her reasons for nominating him.
Why would he be referring to that now though, it was a while ago?

She shouted it when she was walking away from him in the garden, sly bitter old man IIRC

Yeah that rings a bell -
I hate these clips and bits - you get no sense of what is really going on when and why.
Would Gary have been referring to that incident?

That was where she invited him to nominate her, nominations were yesterday :hehe:

Agree but if he did hear it or was told about it(as I recall she repeated what she had said to several HMs when she went to the kitchen) its possible he wanted to think about it before talking to her.?
Might be another occasion but whatever bitter is not a fair comment to make against this man.I would be more inclined to use it for Dee on occasions.

Actually after rewatching the clip I don't think he is.
I suppose we will find out when/if the highlights show it.

She did call him a bitter old man she also called him sly.
Even if it isn't at this time they are having the argument she has called him a bitter twisted old man it's on tv! http://bigbrother.channel5.com/noms-fallout-garys-made-dee-angry So it's kind of moot to say she hasn't!
I find Dee to be really rude in that vid above btw, bitching to other hm's about Gary near the end when he is stood right there again!
I hope she at least gets some boo's on Wednesday, she deserves them.

It's sort of beyond rude now - it's open hatred and hostility. I don't know whether it's better or worse to express it openly or to be doing behind his back now - it's all unpleasant.

Its interesting really, Gary is the one with a brain injury, yet Dee and James have both been caught out with severe cases of memory loss :hehe:

Her body language in all these encounters just makes me want to punch her and I'm pretty laid back and not at all violent! It's just so cringe. Maybe someone told Gary she called him bitter, maybe he misheard it at the time, maybe she did say it, but the fact is if you've called someone a bitter twisted old man, even if it was another day, own it!

Ooh, Dee might get a few boos on Wednesday. There seems to be quite a lot of Gary support in the crowd every week.

She definitely deserves some boo's, I'm under no illusion that she will go though but boo's would be good enough.
And Dee realises it wasn't a smart move

Ah, she called him bitter because she thought his comment about nominations coming up again meant he was going to nominate her.
He didn't nominate her, so told her that he wasn't bitter?
Maybe he was referring to that past incident.

I do not usually get moved one way or the other by 'Reality TV' 'Stars' but with this woman, everything about her really enrages me - her voice, her appearance, her vile personality, her arrogance and her hypocrisy. I really, genuinely, 1000% detest her. Gary may have been thoughtless in what he did - for whatever reason - but I think that James and Truffle Pig seized the faux pas to make capital from. I genuinely believe that if Ricci had dropped his trousers for a 'joke' and exposed himself Truffle Pig Dee definitely wouldn't have been 'affronted' and James would have laughed 'on cue' whether he secretly disapproved or not.

And there are a lot of people who do and we owe them some compassion. As the old saying goes 'There but for the grace of god go I.' My poor nan had dementia towards the end of her life and her behaviour became nasty and bizarre. She would have been horrified if she had known how she would end up. I like to think we showed her love and compassion enough inspite of the difficulties.
Gary is amazing despite the odd slip up, he's harmelss and he's brimming with love. Gary to win for me!

And she is a horrible rude woman but does Gary shout abuse at her? Does he call her awful names to her face and behind her back? No he does not.
He may be rude at times but that does not excuse the way he has been spoken to and treated in the house.

Gary has shown nothing but love for the others even after they have been horrible to him. They hate the fact that he does not bite back & make himself look nasty like them.
Dee has shown herself to be a very nasty & intolerant woman.

With all due respect Gary doesn't have dementia.. I take care of my own father who has Alzheimer's and we respect each other because that's how life works.if I do something the wrong way according to him, he will tell me and vice versa..

I have to disagree with your statement there because Gary has tried very hard to fit in and has taken every bit of criticism thrown at him. People say he doesn't help out, then we see him in the kitchen then trying to wash up and clean up. I think it's incredibly unfair to say he thinks he does no wrong. He is constantly apologising for himself, often when he hasn't really done anything wrong.
I'm sorry about your father, I know that must be hard sometimes and no Gary doesn't have alzheimers, at least that we know of, but can't you just see sometimes a little confusion and awkwardness in his behaviour from the medical difficulties he does have, don't you feel any compassion when you see that?

When I see how people who are getting old and confused or ill are treated it frightens the life out of me because it's coming to us all. I think there is an awful lot wrong with elderly care in this country.
