Think about the concept of the show.. Celebrity Big Brother, and think about who I am.. Gold medal winner. Who's the winner here?
Barely ever opens his mouth and when he does he comes out with that? Why is this bloke so popular?

I think he has a chance if BB decide to edit Gary badly.
I have no doubt that those will be the top 2. The rabble are competing for 3rd place.

It was his reason for nominating George, because he thinks that hes more famous than him. So much more famous that George isn't allowed in the same house. He's an arrogant douchebag

Tbf he is right, he is more famous than George and has achieved more than him. Has George done much to earn his place in the house?

Being right is barely an excuse for being a dick. Modesty will get him further than arrogance.

I like Audley, and I'm just happy he nominated George.
Audley knows what he's achieved and tbf George really isn't much of a celebrity so why shouldn't he say so? As a nation we seem to view it as arrogance if someone speaks highly of themselves but what's wrong with that really?

If I listed a bunch of reasons why I thought I was better than you would that be okay?!! It's obviously a bad quality to have.

Audley was right and he doesn't think he is going to win the CBB. He correctly made the comparision of how He, Gary and James earned their clelbrity statues to that of George (and even Dee) who have both been on TV for doing absouletly nothing. I 100% agree with Audley.

According to OC Audley is third, George is second and Gary first. Last time I looked James was 4th and Dee 5th.

Why should someone who has done nothing, has put no effort into their endeavours, other than drinking, skiving, living a selfish, unproductive and boorish lifestyle. Taking the easy route for undeserved acclaim. Why should a person like that feel they have the right to promote themselves as deserving as those who may have spent years perfecting their craft, putting hard graft into what they do.

He didnt say that exactly (misrepresenting him somewhat) he listed most other HMs even James who he hates and said they are all famous in their fields (truth) where as George is bloke whos done 2 series of Gogglebox.
Like it or not hes right George is barely a celebrity, but then hes more a celebrity than some previous years contestants the usual parade of unknown 'models'

Gary still has a lot of support as does Audley. Audley comes across very well and he speaks a lot of sense without losing his temper. He is very cool. Tbh it is called Celebrity Big Brother so where are the celebrities? Why werent some just in the ordinary BB? If I remember rightly with the last one which Jim won, they were all celebrities in there and it was very interesting. Audley is right.

Once you are in the house anyone can win based on what they do in the house. One year they had a member of the public in the Celebrity Big Brother house who became a celebrity in their own right. They could win the same as anyone else.

Celebrity is very hard to judge, for instance, George is more *today* than Audleys boxing career.
Best thing is to just judge them on in the house, so much simpler.

You've hit the nail on the head. Once everyone is in that house they are on a level playing field. I liked Audley until he said that, but now I think he is arrogant and licking around Gary - who won't be fooled by him as he never went near him or stuck up for him until now. I don't think I've ever seen him even have a conversation with Gary!
When Dee was arguing with Gary did you see him walking about in the background smiling to himself?
Audley is playing it so safe he's wooden and has added nothing to the series.

Nah Audley is alright, he's cool.
He just sees the game of BB from a sportsman's perspective, which is what he is - a professional sportsman.
He just assesses the players and weighs it all up when it comes to nominating.
They all have different ways of viewing the game of BB.

I think he's alright. He 's laid back but he's grounded, got his head screwed on.
I definitely saw a lot of heart and warmth in him in that moment when Kellie and he cried in the garden after making up the morning after F2F noms.

Well at least he did not call himself the Brad Pitt of boxing. The impression I got was that he was struggling to find a 2nd nomination and a reason. The one he gave for George was valid but ill advised and will not have helped his chance which is a shame as prior to this imo he was doing good.

He wasn't saying he was better then George though, he was saying that George hasn't done anything to be a celebrity and for that reason he shouldn't be in celebrity bb. I don't think he was doing it in a nasty way, although he was giving himself credit for his own achievements!
When the hms enter cbb, a lot of people moan they aren't real celebrities so it's not much difference IMO

when has james ever belittled somebody's celeb status as opposed to his own and used it as a valid reason to nominate someone?

he's not once referred to anything to do with his celebrity status (other than to say why does he deserve automatic respect for who he is which is absolutely true) in his nominations and he didn't even nominate him last time :idc: it's purely for his rudeness and attitude in the house as he explained.
