First of I think he is funny and interesting but my word the people on here treat him like a saint. I used to work with older people and they were always loving and respectful no matter what their issues (often much worse than Gary's). Gary is just straight up rude, telling someone 'get out of my way' and pushing girls (which they never show for some odd reason) is beyond rude. Yet you guys seem to love it? Baffles me lmao. I'm glad Dee and Ricci actually spoke up to him (James did as well but he is a complete p***k so that is besides the point :laugh: ) I'm just surprised someone hasn't fully screamed at him yet, if I lived with a person so self-centered I would have. He seems to get every excuse under the sun because he is a big American name.

Mr Ping, your post Pongs. Gary is so restrained. After all the bullying, hostility, and downright rudeness he's suffered from the others in there, he is a saint. I would have told the Truffle Pig Bitch Dee to move in far stronger terms after the hysterical (fake, camera-grabbing) rants she had just executed on him, and as for 'pushing girls' - this allegation has already been proved to be a lie (Gary accidentally caught 2p slut Lauren with a drawer as he opened it - there are no other substantiated incidents).

As for a "big American name", historically on CBB, that is a handicap not a benefit, as any genuine star has been treated shamefully on the show if that star happened to be American. I do not believe either that anyone on this forum is supporting Gary Busey solely because he is a genuine star. I believe that they are supporting him because - unlike the British non-entities in there - he has played the CBB 'game' in a totally benign manner; with great dignity, tremendous humour, a sly impish sense of mischief and just enough eccentricity to further endear himself to us. Further; I for one have lost count of the number of times I have started to watch this show with preconceived ideas of who I liked and disliked, but as the show played out and façades slipped and true character was revealed, I started to like some of those I had disliked and vice versa. This was the case here.

Finally; there is a great propensity in the British to root for the underdog, and Gary Busey has proved to be just that in this show; bullied by lesser people, treated abhorrently, and been shunned and lied about. If Gary wins this - and I fervently hope that he does - then it will be the correct outcome because he has wholly entertained us without being malicious or nasty to any other HM. :wavey:

I say again you are not repeating accurately what was said. He told James he didn't say anything against the truth of their brotherhood or something like that. What he said to Dee was that James has a need to be always right. He does. Dee was trying to make out he had said something nasty or malicious, he hadnt .

This is exactly what I am talking about. Gary's world revolves around himself, and there are only so many times you can tell someone politely to for example act as if he was speaking to fellow human beings? Like lol this should not have to be taught to a 70yr old man. I think James is just cruel and I really dislike him, but even if he wasn't ever in the house, people would still become tired of Gary because it is HIM who needs to make changes, not everyone else.

I believe Big Brother was wrong to put him in the house, mainly for his own benefit but also because you can't even ask him to fix up (out of respect for the fact that you're living in a house with him) without being accused of bullying and being insensitive.

I used to work for a lady of 80 years old and she was absoltuly horrible @ times. other times she could be delightful but 99% of the time she was vile, pretty much like Gary. He has however entertained me and I personally think he winds them up constantly.
