For me and most it seems, Gary's been the most honest, truthful and entertaining housemate in there. His coping strategies have been amazing, considering the ongoing badgering he's endured from day one. All because some had a skewed idea of what caring for and experiencing someone is all about. At least for now though he's been spared Dee's shameful and bitter attack on his wife.

If you are doing something for someone you don't do it for reward or praise. You do it because you want to! Instead he was patronised, laughed at and finally isolated, despite trying his hardest to communicate what he's all about and improve himself. It's just a shame most decided to ignore and block what he had to offer, instead of embracing and discovering the very best of him.

Gary Busey has been nothing short of inspirational and I count myself lucky to have enjoyed his work, benefited from his philosophy and shared a small piece of what's been an amazing and traumatic life.

He's not perfect, but who is?

Lastly, he's not just a movie star, when all's said and done, he's a human being just like the rest of us. Who's been to the depths and come back with a message of healing, peace and hope.

Something everyone can learn from?

Was supposed to be on BoTS tonight on the phone in but they changed the format last minute and cancelled my slot - gutted - was this thought process that got me there in the first place so decided to share - would have loved the chance to speak up for him.

Really feel for him atm because despite his ability to fend for himself there's only so much any person can take. It's been relentless, that crap on the HL's show really got to me. Especially George trying to twist it all back at him. Like a bloody tag team those four. However, i'm refraining from openly slagging anyone as Gary wouldn't be arsed with it so ...

I for one will be glad when he gets out of there now ... hopefully as the winner - keep voting!

As for having it on his hands we have only got Stephanies word for it. Getting older sometimes means finding it more difficult to do things such as showering which he has been shown doing. I looked after my elderly mother after she had major surgery and she found all these things more difficult and even became
scared of slipping in the shower, the insensitive behaviour demonstrated by james and some of the other housemates has made cbb uncomfortable to watch. I hope Gary or Audley wins they are the only decent housemates left.

Good post Becker. I wish they hadn't cancelled your slot on there. This happened to me during BB5 on BBLB, I was in the queue to speak to Dermot, and the lady in front took so long, I got timed out as it was near the end of the show.
