My partner would NEVER speak like that /James
Hahah no but he clearly thinks he's one of the young guys, speaking like that when he was saying Ricci would go out and get smashed and find a girl etc :idc:

Exactly, and if Gary had said that he would have been giving him a dressing down on British ethics,he's such a bloody hypocrite, cant stand him.
Such a cringe worthy thing to say.

I wonder if it was a phrase Ricci had used, maybe even in relation to Lauren. It's not a phrase I've even heard before

Didn't Richard Keyes get sacked from Sky TV for the exact same phrase ?
Wondering now if this was the kind of comments Kellie was referring to when she said in the DR that his comments about women are disgusting

the fountain of hypocrisy flows from James's mouth
..I must have misinterpreted this, I thought he was 'mimicking' something Ricci would say/may have said and not something/'a terminology' he would necessarily use himself...

|It's all an act. He probably doesn't even know what it means. He just says it to cover for his latent homosexuality. :joker:

it does sound kind of violent and rapey...but maybe his wife is into that sort of thing. maybe she was sitting at home watching that and thinking it was very hot. If you really knew what people were up to in their sex lives you'd be shocked.

Apparently its a phrase well used in male prisons
If that's how "us British" speak, i'm packing my bags

I don't care if it makes me seem a prude, but I think it is a disgusting phrase.

It is a disgusting phrase, i nearly died last night when my Mum asked me what it meant
But it is a really popular saying, especially in the 'lad' culture, i heard Ricci say it a few times on GS, so i imagine he'd have said it around the house at some point.

In fact - it would be a great question to James on BOTS
'Now you are out of the house - are you looking forward to going home and smashing Ola's backdoors in?'
See how he reacts to that.
Then show him the clip of him saying it to Ricci.

James is plain old disgusting! That's a very aggressive comment aimed at women alluding to violent sexual practice.
He simply says what he is, we all do!

He'll deny he said that - vile disgusting creature.
Ola, from her letter to James, is in denial about his disgraceful and disgusting behaviour which makes me feel a bit uncomfortable.

I'm pretty sure Ola would know James more than anyone else having been together 14 (iirc) years, nothing else this series has gotten him emotional except for Ola, i'd imagine she is the only person who sees the deeper side to him.
